Description

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:
Responsible for supporting the design, build, and implementation of Ingress and Egress controls.Responsible for supporting the design, build, and implementation of AWS Networking and Content Delivery services, focusing on Amazon VPC, AWS Transit Gateway, and Security Group configuration. Responsible for updating key stakeholders on all activities related to data security in the cloud. Responsible for supporting the network security aspect (hardening) of AWS approved services with a defense in depth mindset. Responsible for supporting the build of infrastructure as code from a networking perspective.Analyze network logs for configuration drift and potential anomalous activity.Define proper risk levels that align with the company risk appetite without compromising velocity or innovation. Influence security controls related to Network Security in cloud hosting provider environments. Make recommendations, leveraging deep knowledge and expertise in cybersecurity technologies/products.Work with Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture to identify end-to-end technical solutions based on business needs that utilize a service-based architecture.Educate on the importance of network security in the cloud.

BASIC SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience5 years of hands on experience in the Network Security3 years of hands on experience in the AWS Environment Expert knowledge of cloud shared responsibility models Proven experience in automation, API's, terraform, IaC, json, python, WAF, DDOS, and firewall configuration Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work east coast hours and travel as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience Certifications: AWS Foundations, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, AWS Security SpecialityExperience in a DevOps organization

Overseeing the product lifecycle from concept inception to sunset delivery, including business strategies, performance objectives and outcome based roadmaps

Manage end to end product performance, including financial, risk, operations and business performance
Develop budgets, forecast and manage P&L Defines and communicates product vision and strategy in line with the customers long-term business goals Conducts market research and tracks industry developments and understands implications to product vision and strategy Identifies market need, interfacing with customers as needed to define the scope and position of the product Defines and manages the product's business metrics, cost, feature & functionality, risk posture and reliability Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product Creates and maintains the product roadmap Create and maintain the product's definition and artifacts including product canvas, product roadmap, strategy and vision for the product, and customer-facing SLAs Conduct product discovery to identify and prioritize opportunities for product development that are in-line with desired business outcomes Partner with teams (product, engineering, technology, risk, compliance, operations, ..) to support Product offering and Roadmap, Client Engagement, Service Measurement and Continuous Improvement Represent the "voice of the customer" internally in guiding product design and development Oversee and drive the go-to-market plans for the product, including firmwide communications and support models Leader in customer collaboration across all stages of work. Required Skills/Experience


10+ years of overall experience and Minimum 7+ years of product management experience with a product development through entire product lifecycle Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field , Masters or MBA preferred. Strong knowledge of product management and experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition Solid understanding of end-to-end product strategy development, customer engagement, architecture design, engineering, implementation and operations Experience with process modelling techniques (e.g., value stream mapping) and understanding of business value drivers Experience identifying opportunities, building a product strategy, and influencing delivery against a multi-year roadmap. Participate in and /or lead the strategic direction, feature design, user interaction, requirements, and outcome based roadmap of one or more products and solutions. Proven track record of financial management, such as investment processes, business case development, cost and recovery models Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to a senior management and customers Proven track record of driving large-scale product implementation and change programs and working across all constituencies in the business and functional areas to successfully launch products and product features Proven experience providing roadmaps, product overviews, report, backlog and documentation for enterprise technology solutions Global management experience including proven ability to work in a highly matrixed organization to accomplish target goals. A strong understanding of software development methodologies and practices (SDLC, Agile, Scrum, waterfall, etc.)

Kemper is seeking an Advanced Network and Security Manager with experience in Cloud Network Design and Support, as well as Data Center Networking and WAN Networking Design and Support.

Position Responsibilities

* Under general direction, manage services delivered by the Network team
* Provide quality, timely and cost-effective support of the network infrastructure both on premise and in the cloud
* Provide leadership in coordinating resource assignment to projects and enhancements
* Manage teams comprised of internal and external contractors and employees to execute large, cross functional programs
* Focus on developing the strategy, structuring, and managing the delivery of the network services
* Manage the transition from on premise network infrastructure to cloud infrastructure
* Responsible for network designs both in the cloud and for multi-site networks.
* Responsible for managing relationships between different IT teams and the business
* Ability to present complex technical solutions to executive level personnel.

Position Qualifications

* Education equivalent to a college degree in computer science or related field, or the equivalent in related work experience
* 10+ years of experience in designing, building, and implementing large scale network solutions
* 5+ years of personnel management experience preferred
* Experience with managing interconnectivity with third parties for network and data services
* Experience in Change Management and service delivery
* Previous experience in managing escalations of service delivery and Incidents.
* Ability to run and ensure a successful project
* Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with stakeholders and senior business leadership of departments and customers participating in this project
* Ability to organize and work effectively with project teams made up of internal staff and/or external parties (agents, vendors, etc.)
* Demonstrated experience and relevant expertise in the configuration and deployment of network infrastructure
* Ability to build consensus among business and technology stakeholders.
* Ability to effectively prioritize multiple workstreams based on expected business outcomes
* Ability to derive SLA's and KPI's for critical services and network infrastructure
* Ability to lead teams to triage and resolve system outages and prevent similar future outages
