Coupa is looking for a technical, customer service driven and all around professional individual to fill the role of Business Applications Manager. The primary function of a Business Applications Manager is to support a team of system analysts to improve business processes and procedures for internal business stakeholders. They are also the first line of defense in triaging problems and issues as they arise within the prospective business systems that they support. This role is expected to become a subject matter expert on the products and systems they support.

This Business Applications Manager role is within the Technology Services department of Coupa, with a focus on administration of workforce and finance applications. The manager is expected to be a critical thinker who can work with teams across the organization to implement and support systems to improve daily employee efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:Provide effective leadership to a global team of analysts to drive tangible business outcomes Manage internal stakeholders' expectations and deliver tangible results to the BUs you support. What you will do

Under general direction, leads the program management efforts within the Sales Process and Applications group. Consults with Building Solutions, North America (BSNA) internal customers for client satisfaction with the Business/Financial Systems and their integration with the CRM and CPQ systems. Develops program plan that includes deliverables/objectives, timetable in alignment with project charter associated with the migration from HFM to OneStream, and the integration with all Business Applications. Coordinates department, group, company resources as needed to achieve the expected results. Operates with minimal supervision and direction from director or manager.

How you will do it

Partner with the IT and Financial teams on the OneStream migration project to provide uninterrupted support to the internal commercial organization. Continuously interacts with clients, potential project sponsors, decision-makers, and users of business information to understand business needs and identify opportunities to apply market research and/or business information to meet these needs. Acts as business-knowledge resources across BSNA. Work with project sponsors and assembles field councils to analyze customer requirements, prepare functional specifications, and determine project value to the company. Prepares proposals including deliverables/objectives and timetable in alignment with project charter. Manages programs and projects in alignment with charter and is responsible for furnishing high quality deliverables. Manages, designs, and develops scheduled analytical deliverables from a systems perspective, and on-demand business information requests from BSNA. Manages the integration between the Business Systems and the CRM/CPQ System to deliver the functionality that supports BSNA business processes. Leads large-scale program efforts to understand desired business process, design tools, and procedures that improve BSNA effectiveness and efficiency. Leads the program in developing business systems functionality, and testing deliverables for usability and conformance to program plan and functional specification. Supervises detail design and development work that may include data definitions, report layouts, screen prototypes, process validation, business rules, database analysis, programming, statistical analysis, screen design, and interpretive findings.

Mentors and guides less experienced staff in understanding business processes, corporate data model and systems, research techniques, and training needs. Represents organization with internal clients at meetings. Understands BSNA's capabilities and objectives.

What we look for

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or closely related discipline required, with a Master's Degree highly desired. Eight years of business experience required including demonstrated performance in project design and project management. Demonstrated knowledge of building systems and services markets highly desired. Demonstrated ability to understand complex end-user requirements for Business applications and their integration. Knowledge of SalesForce.com is a plus.

EDB is hiring a Manager or GTM Business Applications to streamline processes, propose and define systems requirements and use cases, and to work collaboratively with EDB's Information Technology teams to implement systems and solutions to support EDB's GTM objectives. The role will report to the VP of Revenue Ops and FP&A and will have an exciting and unique opportunity to build and improve upon our GTM Applications and how we use them as we grow and scale as an organization.
Responsibilities

* Partner with EDB's IT Team to manage EDB GTM Application's product life cycles including strategic planning, project design, issue resolution, and day to day vendor relationship management
* Act as a key liaison between IT, Marketing, Sales operations and other key business stakeholders to drive GTM automation and process improvement projects to completion
* Document existing business processes and re-imagine "to-be" state.
* Ensure adoption of existing systems through a thoughtful, strategic, and measurable approach to user education and system rationalization.
* Gather user feedback and build mechanisms to track system/process performance
* Communicate a product vision regularly through detailed, written product requirements, roadmap documents and presentations
* Identify new GTM applications capabilities as they become available, including opportunities to leverage integrations between platforms
* Responsible for maintaining and/or improving overall product scalability
* Create documentation in support of business and technology requests (includes business/data requirements, data flows, data modeling, workflow context)
* Facilitate implementation of business requirements for all technology initiatives by acting as a liaison between business users and development resources for both large and small-scale changes
* Provide continuous evaluation of technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives. Identify areas of risk, while monitoring the current environment, potential improvement areas, and the financial implications of those decisions
* Participate in user acceptance testing and support system training / documentation
* Engage in complex problem solving with both business users and development resources
* Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively with a large global team
* Increase sales productivity through process simplification and automation
