The Applications Functional Consultant is responsible for defining, developing and managing a set of existing products as well as introducing new applications that will provide Pet Supplies Plus with effective solutions to optimize/improve life both within the company and more importantly, for our neighbors.
Key responsibilities start with product planning and internal product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the development team to deliver winning products. Primary Responsibilities:
+ Research, uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements

Overview of Job Function:
The Product Manager of Cloud and PC applications is responsible for Fraud Security Solutions Cloud and PC applications roadmap. The Product Management team's scope ranges from increasing the profitability of existing products, delivering on current roadmap milestones, and developing the next generation of tools and capabilities. The Product Manager will help establish the Cloud and PC applications' roadmap for transitioning the existing thick client applications to cloud and help develop new ideas working with the development team to define product release requirements, pricing, and go-to-market strategy. You will collaborate with the various stakeholders within the organization and will serve as an advocate managing the product through its lifecycle. This is a US remote role, with a preference to EST/CST.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
+ Manage the transition of traditional thick client application to the cloud.
+ Manage the life cycle of cloud applications within the platform from strategic planning to tactical activities.
+ Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on‐going visits to customers and non‐customers.
+ Work closely with cross functional groups for product planning, marketing, engineering, and user experience design to define requirements and user stories.
+ Support engineering reviews to ensure the development of new components and functionality are meeting market and end user requirements.
+ Support the broader business unit‐wide go‐to‐market plan, working with all departments through the execution and roll-out phases.
+ Analyze and manage potential and current partner relationship to ensure the smooth functioning of the capabilities provided to our clients.

Minimum Requirements:
+ BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other business-related degree, or equivalent work experience.
+ 5+ years of product management experience with 2 of those years leading cloud solutions programs.
+ 2+ years of experience in the Video Security industry, preferably with focus in banking and financial services.
+ Familiar with design patterns involved in integrated cloud products (from overall UX, API and distributed architecture design, to common technology areas involved like identity, integration, and management).
+ Strong knowledge of technology, web, business intelligence and data source connections, with SaaS product experience.
+ Strong knowledge of the banking security market, and the framework of compliance challenges that surround collection and transmission of video security data.
+ Experienced in Agile product development methodology.
+ Experienced in using Jira for management of product requirements.
+ Strong initiative: self-sufficient; able to identify areas of potential product and documentation improvement; capable of prioritizing and executing tasks to reach the business unit goals.
+ Must be able to travel up to 20%, mostly domestic.
+ Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.
Additional Preferred Requirements:
+ Product management experience within an enterprise environment.
+ Good understanding and experience within distributed systems.
+ Large-scale cloud experience working with cloud products and technologies would be an advantage.
