Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Employer Relations, the Manager oversees all event managementand operations related to on-campus campus recruiting (OCR) activities for companies interested in hiring Business School students. The Manager will utilize the CMC's recruiting platform (COIN), in addition to other internal systems and calendars, to facilitate company events and interviews. This includes managing the job board and acting as a system resource for both employers and students.The Manager will work closely with the Director and other team members to collect and maintain the student employment database while maintaining confidentiality. The Manager also manages the Employer Resume database and the CMC Reciprocity Program for visiting students.As an integral member of the Career Management Center, the Manager will also participate in additional projects as necessary to help the office execute its mission.

Responsibilities

Secures on-campus event and classroom space in advance of recruiting season (fall) and facilitates catering requests for companies as needed. Partners with the CMC Reception Coordinator and other offices as needed (Operations, Dean's Office, Office of Student Affairs) to ensure School protocols are followed. Works with external venues to reserve space on behalf of recruiting partners as needed. Manages invoice submissions and budget for all on-campus recruiting costs. Works with employer relations team by greeting company representatives at events when needed. Ensures that all campus entry requirements are managed appropriately, working in partnership with the Operations department for security desk clearance. Manages CMC multi-use rooms during recruiting season (fall and winter) for employers coming to campus to interview students. Coordinates early morning staffing duties for CMC members and logistics for interviewer check-in. Oversees event management for interviews on high-volume days as directed by members of the employer relations team. Works with employers on interview days, as needed. Works closely with employer relations team to prepare for recruiters and interviewers, this includes, but is not limited to, managing both employer and student communications surrounding events and interviews as needed. Manages and maintains the job board, utilizing independent judgement and initiative, makes determinations on approvals for job postings, as appropriate. Monitors the system (COIN) for incoming event and interview requests.Advises appropriate team members (relationship managers) on activity from existing accounts. Provides guidance to employer and students regarding questions on use of COIN. Manages the Employer Resume database, ensuring timely submission of resumes by students and checks that student profile settings are correctly set for employer visibility.
Works closely with Senior Associate Director, Communications & Operations to ensure that COIN is functioning correctly for students, recruiters and administrators, reporting issues to the vendor, tracking resolutions, while providing updates to end users. Works with the Senior Associate Director to troubleshoot other technology platforms utilized by the Employer Relations team such as Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Manages the Reciprocity Program, which provides one-day access to CMC resources for students from partner MBA programs, as well as reciprocal access to current CBS students at other Schools. Launches student employment data survey twice a year, maintaining database and auditing data regularly. Works to provide Assistant Director and Director, Employer Relations with reports as needed. Launches employer booking form for on-campus recruiting requests each spring and works with employer relations team to create internal recruiting calendar for the purposes of conflict-free scheduling. Confirms dates with employers and directs them to submit through COIN. Works with members of the employer relations team with preparing reports for post recruiting-season meetings with recruiting partners. Works with members of the employer relations team with other events such as recruiting breakfast meetings hosted by the Dean, Networking Night, Recruiters Day, and career fairs. Performs special projects and related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/or its equivalent required.Minimum 2-4 years related experience required.

Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to work independently using sound judgement and discretion required. Must have demonstrated ability to balance needs of multiple stakeholders and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Candidate must be self-motivated with a keen attention to detail. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong written and oral communication skills needed. Strong facility with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook and web/database literacy.Ability to work flexible, long hours, early mornings/late evenings on a seasonal basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in campus recruiting on either the university or company side.
