**Description**

In the QA Manager role, you will: Build, establish, and manage the QA team/discipline for the business. Ensure the product achieves or exceeds the envisioned customer experience. Develop quality strategies for products and oversee the development and execution of software test plans and analysis of test results. Execute the activities of the software quality assurance function for maximum date and quality predictability, with effective risk awareness and management. Work closely with other functional disciplines, especially engineering and design.

As an Advisor within Specialty Quality Assurance team you will be responsible for ensuring that projects belonging to Novologix application are delivered of high quality and on time. You will be responsible for ensuring that QA processes are followed diligently while executing a project. You will play a vital role in the execution of strategic projects by collaborating with project stakeholders (PO, Business Owners, Clients), leading discussions and showcasing the value QA adds to the project. You will also play an active role in mentoring team members and monitor the projects executed by them. A successful candidate must have strong communication skills, should think and act strategically, establish trust and build relationship with project stakeholders and team members.Should have a strong understanding of current industry trends and best practices in test automation and test data management techniques
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 75,000

Maximum: 167,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ software development life cycle and methodologies experience such as Scrum, Agile and iterative development. • 8+ Years of experience in creating testing strategies (End to End) for projects following iterative and agile methodologies• 8+ years experience in implementing various automation framework based on keyword, data-driven and BDD approach• 8+ years experience in QA methodology and principles, tools, processes, and metrics. • 8+ years experience in QA Automation tools/technology and concepts: Selenium, Gherkin, Cucumber, Jenkins• 8+ years of Strong project management skills, demand and capacity management, project and program coordination, executive reporting and risk management

What you'll do:

* Responsible for leading Software Quality Assurance efforts involving both full-time personnel as well as offshore contract resources. This requires regular team meetings to plan work and evaluate results. It often requires working with outside groups involved with software development, product management, manufacturing, and other testing groups.
* Develops, manages, and executes all phases of quality assurance testing, including analysis of product requirements to produce test requirements, and development and execution of functional/system test plans in a multi-tiered environment.
* Develops and maintains a working knowledge of business processes supported by software systems/products.
* Classify and review bugs on a regular basis and manage the efficient testing and validation of bug fixes.
* Must be able to create test plans including both manual and automated tests to provide broad test coverage for a product.
* Conduct and participate in test case reviews, requirement reviews, design reviews, and change control activities.
* Creates and contributes to the creation of test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data for use during the testing phases of the software development lifecycle, for new and existing software systems/products;
* Ensures that test plans and scenarios fully exercise every aspect of the product.
* Produces formal test plans; leads the testing effort for assigned projects.
* Documents and reports issues discovered during testing, and reports issues to Management.
* Creates and performs complex test execution. Builds and manages automation framework and performance tests.
* Collaborates with other team members to understand the scope of test cases that will be used for automated scripts.

What you'll bring:

* Bachelor Degree is required with 4+ years experience in the function or discipline managed, typically including supervisory experience.·
* Formal Software Quality Assurance experience and good understanding of corresponding toolset (Microsoft TFS / Devops or equivalent). These tools are used to manage software bugs, work items, software releases and testing (both automated and manual
* Experience as the customer's advocate and have the confidence to not ship a release until the quality meets Brooks' standards.
* Since our automated testing environment is based on Python, this position requires the ability to read, create, modify, and maintain Python code.
* Ability to borrow and coordinate both human and equipment assets to test and certify software releases.
* Knowledge of other programming languages and software tools is a plus.
* Exposure to GIT or similar source control system needed.
