Strategy managers are key when it comes to determining the long term success of a business. They assess the strengths and weaknesses of an organization and define realistic and sustainable goals for the company. Considering all possible factors, they create strategic plans for corporate operations and aim to minimize any risk the business might run into.
As a strategy manager, you will thoroughly research company operations and processes to find the areas where efficiency might slip away. You will make sure the goals the company has set out to achieve match available resources and redefine success to attainable measures if necessary.
You will also have to analyze the market and keep a sharp eye on competitors' activities. Experience in business endeavors will be essential to keep your employer happy here. You will need a bachelor's in a field related to business management, but it will not be able to replace the insight you have gained during your previous years on the job.
