Reporting to the SVP, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Administrator, you will provide operational leadership, set a strategic vision, and implement system-wide standards to enhance quality, accessibility, and efficiency. Your leadership will help modernize imaging services, expand patient access, and drive innovation throughout the hospital system. In this influential position, it will be important to partner with medical staff, nursing leadership, managers, and department leaders to extend our reach in the community. You will also chair a system-wide council that keeps our imaging services at the forefront. This position is based out of our System Office in Portland, Oregon, with frequent visits to our medical centers. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Business Development: Facilitate the development and implementation of system-wide standards across imaging. Works in conjunction with system-wide Directors of Imaging Services to provide vision, leadership, organization, and direction to manage and grow the Imaging Operating Division. Collaborates with system leaders in Strategic Planning, Population Health, Information Services, and People and Culture. Assists in the strategic development of new clinical programs and the establishment of Imaging strategy and goals. Manages the development of Imaging business plans and programs, including writing proposals, conducting analyses, and meeting and negotiating terms with executive administration. Partners with physician leadership to achieve mutual goals for Imaging. Develops and administers quality performance goals within our medical leadership contracts. Continuously analyzes staffing, financing, operations, policies, systems, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service line performance. Develops/directs/monitors mechanisms to standardize supplies, equipment, and inventory and explores opportunities to maximize the system's purchasing power. Provides direct management the Imaging Support Service Dept to include recruitment, interviewing, selection, training, and evaluation of staff. Assesses technical and professional education needs of staff and develops or provides educational resources to meet those needs. Assigns workloads and monitors quantity and quality of work. Partners with a People Strategy Partner on strategic workforce initiatives for the Imaging Operating Division to include department/division design, recruitment strategies, talent planning, people analytics and pay practices. Collaborate with Information Services on the development and implementation of digital and AI technologies within imaging services to advance patient care access and clinical quality. Serves on service line and other committees as required. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required. Master's degree preferred. Experience: Previous business/administration experience required. Minimum of six years progressively more responsible leadership experience within Imaging, including multi-hospital or integrated delivery system models with managed care required. Skills: Highly effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Comfort with conflict resolution and supporting priorities based on Legacy's organizational culture and strategy. Thorough understanding of current developments and trends in areas of responsibility as well as general healthcare management familiarity and competency with navigating electronic systems applicable to job functions. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Under the guidance of the Director of Residential Engagement, hire, supervise, evaluate, train, and mentor Resident Advisors (RAs). * Model, develop, implement, and assess student leader learning outcomes. * Develop and deliver RA curriculum including Fall and Spring trainings, in-services, Area Meetings, and the RA hiring workshop. * Oversee one area of campus housing and supervise the 10-14 Residence Life staff (RAs) in that area. * Co-manage university housing including registration, inventory, maintenance, keys, billing, and area budgets. * Coordinate maintenance needs and damage billings between the Facilities Services Department and students. * Rotate 7-day, 24-hour on-call response and scheduled campus rounds with other Area Directors and serve as the contact person for emergencies within university housing. * Monitor and follow up with student concerns and serve as a student advocate, while maintaining familiarity with student conduct and student-of-concern software. * Maintain regular office hours as assigned by the Director of Residential Engagement in the Residence Life offices. * Participate as an active member of Student Affairs, attend divisional meetings, and engage in ongoing professional development. * Follow and enforce all University policies and procedures. Specific Area Director for Housing Responsibilities: * Coordinate housing check-in/check-out events and key distribution processes. * Maintain key control systems, complete audits, order lock changes, and manage key code entry status in Linfield's housing software. * Manage roommate placements and mid-year housing change requests, including the open room move period. * Oversee and maintain storage rooms and the summer storage program. * Coordinate FSL billing, meal plan swaps, and audits. * Coordinate break housing. * Collaborate with Facilities, Conferences and Events, the campus lock shop, and Cleaning Services to ensure smooth housing transitions. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and at least two years of residence life experience, preferably at a liberal arts college.
