Location: This role requires associates to be in-office [3] days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The Manager Associate Customer Care under general guidance and mentoring, provides oversight of a customer service unit.

Key Responsibilities:
Learn Configuration Management (CM) policies and procedures and participate at internal CM meetings by sharing working knowledge.
Analyze the Nature, Reason, and Substantiation of minor Engineering Changes and provide guidance to requestors.

Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager is a role that will be responsible for supporting, engaging and motivating Business Development Representatives in driving business development objectives. The Senior Director of State Government Affairs will be responsible for promoting, growing, and protecting Cengage business interests across the United States. A key leader in government affairs helping to define how the company analyzes, understands, navigates, and shapes policy at the state level. You will lead and direct contract-lobbying operational activities and develop a proactive engagement strategy in support of Cengage's policy and procurement objectives. What YOU will do:
Communicate technical topics and issues in a clear and concise manner to both technical peers as well as non-technical team members.
Conduct and provide constructive feedback during peer reviews. Mentor and document knowledge to provide technical guidance to both members of own team and beyond.
Work proactively and in a self-driven manner with an integrated product team (IPT) to manage project scope and budget, as well as identify risks and opportunities.
Participate in and lead investigations into highly complex, open-ended tasks. Search for and identify root cause of issues.
Create military compliant designs that incorporate custom machined/sheet metal parts with a selection of commercial off the shelf items as required.
Perform structural analysis of aerospace components including static, dynamic, thermal, fatigue life, fracture mechanics predictions and damage tolerance analyses to ensure such requirements as sizing, strength, and dynamic load are met throughout the design life-cycle.
Design new products and processes, and improves and maintains existing products. Investigates pertinent design factors such as cost, ease of manufacture, tolerancing, availability and compatibility of materials and equipment, interchangeability, maintainability, strength-weight efficiency, and contractual specification requirements.
Create 3D product models, outlines, and layouts Support product design reviews and coordinate work with project, engineering, and manufacturing teams

Can apply and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
Knowledge of military standards such as MIL-STD-810, RTCA DO-160, and MIL-STD-1472.

The position is salary-based, with performance-based incentives tied to revenue retention and growth targets. What your impact will be:
Customer Retention
* Manage contract renewals and annual price increases
* Manage and minimize customer attrition through proactive engagement and relationship management
* Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring satisfaction and long-term loyalty
* Proactively schedule all customers to have annual touchpoints, frequency of touch points based on revenue, customer satisfaction levels, and growth opportunities
