We have a long-term contract position available for an experienced Customer Care Specialist to join our amazing team at our Wayne, NJ manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for processing sales orders from receipt through to shipment for assigned customers and act as liaison between the customer, operations and sales team to ensure customers' needs are met in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Sales Orders
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of information entered into SAP.
Handles client inquiries, provides necessary information, and interfaces with the customers on routine matters.
Ensures that ingredient samples and pre/co-ship samples are acknowledged, processed and shipped.
Effectively communicates with Shipping, Production, Planning and Purchasing departments on all aspects of the customer order.
Manages all inquiries regarding open Sales Orders
Manages Customer Concerns and returned goods/damage in transit issues through the QA standard procedure
Works directly with the client contacts to ensure sample needs, product safety paperwork, and shipping details are communicated and met.
Communicates with affiliates
Monitor customer's website for active orders
Maintain forecast data and customer reports
Research, retrieves, and creates reports and spreadsheet analysis as required
Provide update status on customers to other departments
Manages and participates in special tasks and projects as requested by Customer Relations Manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
HS Diploma
College degree preferred
Three to Five years' experience in Sales Administration, Customer Relations, or Customer Service.
Experience and working Knowledge of SAP

Basic Function (Purpose of Position):

Job Specifications:
Operates cleaning equipment including clean-in-place machines, floor scrubber/sweeper and drum washer.
