Summary of Position
Pine Tree is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Data and Analytics Intern to join the Investments & Asset Management team. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support business strategy and operations. Responsibilities
Design, build, and support departmental databases and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.
Gain hands-on exposure to the retail real estate industry by actively participating in acquisition, asset management, and investment meetings, to build tools and solutions that directly support business strategy and decision-making.
Extract, compile, and analyze data for both ad-hoc and recurring reporting, including audit and regulatory queries.
Create new visualizations and tools for our external client dashboard
Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting and analytics platforms.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate the flow of information and support cross-functional initiatives.

Desired Skillset & Qualifications
Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (preferred)
Experience with Microsoft Power BI or SQL (preferred)
Experience with Python, R, or another programming language (a plus).

Interns are provided with the opportunity to work with a team through all the phases of a construction project. Practical experience gained from Clune's Internship Program may supplement education from your University.
Responsibilities
Clune Project Management interns will learn the various parts of a life-cycle of a project while assisting project teams. They gain experience coordinating with and issuing information to subcontractors. Their teams will demonstrate how to communicate with clients, architects, and engineers and provide experience in various meetings. Clune's Project Management Interns leave the program with a better understanding of drawings, contract documents and the importance of project documentation.
Field Interns will spend time working with a Clune Superintendent on one or more job sites. They learn the ins-and-outs of building a job in a hands-on environment. Interns in the field will coordinate with subcontractors, assist with safety and logistics, and learn about project scheduling. Clune Superintendent Interns leave the program with a better understanding of quality control, punch lists, drawing sets and various building rules and regulations.
Beyond their regular duties, interns engage in an eight-week long Intern Learning Project that exposes them to the entire lifecycle of a construction project. Weekly sessions are led by our in-house Subject Matter Experts, including Superintendents from the field and Project Managers from the office, supplemented by presentations from departments such as Marketing, Communications, Accounting, Safety, and Risk Management. At the project's conclusion, interns collaborate in teams to present their findings and insights to office leadership.

About the role, Your Impact:
Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Survey Intern in our Crystal Lake or Mokena, IL office. Under immediate supervision, the Survey Intern will assist in locating and measuring a portion of the earth s surface by planning, conducting, and recording field data for a diverse range of surveys.
What your day-to-day will look like, and what you will learn on the job:
Operate survey instruments and equipment for various projects such as topographic, ALTA, boundary, construction, etc.
Locate and determine land by measuring and calculating points, elevations, lines, angles, areas, and contours; contributing information to and from software and hardware used by the B&W Survey Department.
Assist the party chief and field crew with recording surveys by preparing notes, records, drawings, and applicable field equipment/hardware and software systems.
Complete projects in a timely, efficient, and effective manner within deadlines and budgets.
Enhance the department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds or more (including opening manholes of various sizes and shapes).

Ability to travel throughout northeast Illinois and southeast Wisconsin areas (own transportation).
Strong math, written, verbal, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation experience
Compensation The pay for this role is $21.00 an hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Office Activities
Document Control - Maintain, organize, and distribute project documents.
Submittals - Assist in the submittal processes as assigned.
RFI's - Prepare, submit, distribute to GC and applicable GSI suppliers and subcontractors.
Scheduling - Participation in project schedule updates.
Material Procurement - Perform necessary take-offs; Develop and issue RFQ's and PO's; Verify / check order acknowledgements.
Fabrication Releases - Verification and checking of metal orders / cut lists and glass orders.
Work Orders - Develop and issue WO tickets (delivery, fabrication, install, pick-up).
Vendor Management - Daily / weekly follow up with vendors on commitments and progress.
Labor Time Sheet Verification - Weekly verification of shop and field labor hours reporting.
Interaction Development - Interact with internal and external resources to develop trade specific knowledge. Includes studying and understanding trade specific documents - i.e. shop drawings, specifications, industry publications.

Progress Reporting - Weekly fabrication and assembly progress tracking.

The Service Desk intern assists the Service Desk team members with providing best in class support of end users via Clune's Help Desk. Clune Project Management interns will learn the various parts of a life-cycle of a project while assisting project teams. They gain experience coordinating with and issuing information to subcontractors. Their teams will demonstrate how to communicate with clients, architects, and engineers and provide experience in various meetings. Clune's Project Management Interns leave the program with a better understanding of drawings, contract documents and the importance of project documentation.
Field Interns will spend time working with a Clune Superintendent on one or more job sites. They learn the ins-and-outs of building a job in a hands-on environment. Interns in the field will coordinate with subcontractors, assist with safety and logistics, and learn about project scheduling. Clune Superintendent Interns leave the program with a better understanding of quality control, punch lists, drawing sets and various building rules and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This group works on large and complex commercial damages matters involving misappropriations of assets, post-acquisition disputes, forensic accounting investigations, and a myriad of other domestic and international disputes. - Conduct economic, financial, accounting, and industry research

- Assist with the preparation of expert reports (damages, forensic accounting, and construction quantum reports)
- Assist with the preparation of rebuttal expert reports evaluating the conclusions of other experts

QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar, from an accredited university or college with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027
- Pursuing CPA, CFF, CFA, CFE, or ABV credentials is a plus
- Able to develop creative approaches and solutions necessary to resolve complex problems

Typical hourly compensation for the Project Management Internship role ranges from $26.50 to $29.50 per hour, depending on location, academic level, and prior experience.
**A DAY IN THE LIFE**
ARCO offers an exciting Intern opportunity for highly motivated students. A Project Manager Intern will assist Project Managers with the following:
+ **Estimating -** Describing project proposals and assigning dollar values to the projects.
+ **Scheduling -** Creating a working timeline for subcontractors to complete the project on time.
+ **Design meetings -** Attend design meetings with owner and team to understand design pro structural engineers, architects.
+ **Buyout -** Send bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subcontractors. Receive and evaluate proposals, then award subcontracts.
+ **Shop Drawing and Submittal Review** - Review subcontractor drawings with Project Manager and design team and communicate with subs on upcoming work.
+ **Billing** - Work with Project Manager to understand the business side of building such as managing subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, pay applications, and owning projects cost status.
+ **Jobsite Visits -** Visit jobsite with Project Manager and work with Project Superintendent's to ensure the project is running smoothly.
+ **Weekly Training Sessions -** As an ARCO/Murray Project Manager Intern, weekly training sessions are provided to ensure the Intern team has a clear understanding of their role and how the business operates. Many training courses emphasize growing a deeper knowledge of building trades and how to leverage an engineering background to solve clients needs as a design/builder. Training is held virtually, in-person, at jobsites, and self-guided.
**NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
+ Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's of Engineering program or related field of study
+ Prior industry internship experience is a plus
+ Extracurricular involvement is a plus
