This position is responsible for managing customer services provided in the bank, including retail banking, trust and brokerage referrals, retail mortgage and consumer lending. Directs activities of the personal bankers and other administrative staff to ensure complete and efficient customer service. Ensures that customer services are provided, including opening accounts, providing customers with information, and resolving routine problems for customers. This position also involves positive community involvement and relationships.
The following are essential job responsibilities:
Manages all branch retail staff to ensure adequate coverage, efficient customer service and overall performance of the team.
Assesses and improves the level of individual and team performance through coaching, mentoring, and development activities and initiative.
Provides on-the-job skills and product training to Personal Bankers and Tellers to deliver exceptional customer service and sales using our RPRC model.
Meets individual/branch goals for primary relationships, deposit accounts, loan products and referrals by maintaining and deepening relationships with assigned portfolio clients.
Promotes knowledge and collaborates with other business lines to ensure referral/sales activity.
Proactively calls potential customers and COIs to develop new relationships.
Consistently uses SalesForce to manage current customer and prospect relationships as well as using it as a sales management tool.
Provides back-up to the personal banker/tellers to include opening new accounts, customer service requests and all teller functions.
Participates in hiring new employees, completes performance appraisals and resolves routine personnel issues.
Represents the bank in community functions to further enhance the bank’s image and develop additional business.
Analyzes credit and financial information in making loans to customers as applicable.
Manages all branch audit responsibilities and ensures the branch meets those requirements on a consistent basis.

Education Required/ Preferred
High School or equivalent required/Associate degree in banking, finance or related field preferred
Experience Required/ Preferred
3-5 years retail banking experience required/5+ years retail banking with management experience preferred
