Job Summary: As a two-man extruder operator team, the Team Leader - YEI is responsible for assisting the YEI Specialist in the efficient and safe operation of the YEI machine. Maintain forklift & that it is working properly, clean and without damage, proper safety in place * Inform Supervisor and YEI operators of other shifts concerning the status of the product/material being produced. * Assist YEI Associate in the cutting of non-woven plastic rolls. * Produce product to the published schedule, to proper material specification, and production rate. * Safely drive the YEI forklift to handle bales, parts, regrind, and finished product to and from the YEI process. * Keep YEI Machine fed with proper material and blends to maximize quality and output of product scheduled. * Perform normal YEI machine servicing (i.e., change screens, empty vacuum pump tank, clean Conair dust collector, shredder dust collect filters) to maintain proper machine operation. * Perform process monitoring every 2 hrs. and record process information on the "YEI Worksheet" to insure machine is operating to specification. * Keep feedstock materials free of contamination, jam-ups, metals, or anything harmful to the machine or process. * Collect green inventory labels and fill out a daily production report. * Keep work area clean and organized at all times, brake down boxes (remove old labels), stack pallets neatly, and make boxes with liner for finished product. * Report to Supervisor anything abnormal with the machine or process. * Perform minor maintenance on the process equipment in coordination of his/her Supervisor using only the proper methods and tools. * Asist in training of new YEI machine operators. * Assure that process equipment is never damaged, altered, defaced with markings, tape, etc. and always kept to like new condition. * Wear PPE for the process equipment and area as required at all times. The Global Account Manager acts as the "Voice of the Customer" to formally communicate and facilitate solutions that help Technimark grow our business. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Play a leading role in the development and execution of TM's global account management and growth plan * Global point of contact responsible for the oversight and delivery of all internal/external client initiatives * Ensure all of the critical tasks relating to assigned accounts are completed on-time and in budget (requires working closely with and overseeing other internal teams and direct management) Business development responsibilities include: * Within the assigned account base, this position is responsible for securing new business and leading all new business efforts * Establishing good personal and professional relationships with key stake holders across the client's organization, including: sr. managers, buyers, plant level managers, quality teams, etc. * Organizing and hosting all client visits to TM facilities or TM visits to client facilities (includes working with all internal teams to have requested information prepared and in a professionally presented format) * Regular travel to client sites to address needs, understand current satisfaction levels and look for new business opportunities * Work closely with development group to define commercial applications for new technologies * Set up new product/technology introductions (working with internal technical team) Commercial responsibilities include: * Responsible to work with the client and Technimark's global sites/teams (customer service, business development and sr. management) to complete short and long-term budgeting /forecasting for assigned accounts * Pricing adjustments - manage or oversee the implementation of selling prices and or terms and conditions on an agreed upon frequency (these updates can be attributed but not limited to cost changes in raw materials, labor standards, distribution, and or market conditions) * Monitoring expected yields/margins (daily, monthly, yearly) to ensure TM is performing to or exceeding our internal profitability targets. If we are not performing to expectation then the Global Account Manager must notify broad internal team to identify root causes. When inconsistencies arise between a program's quoted (or anticipated) margin and the reality of what is being realized in manufacturing (cycle times, higher scrap %'s, lower MOQ's, etc.), the Global Account Manager will be responsible for working with TM's global operations team to understand what is driving the variances and negotiating a mutually agreeable resolution.
