Stantec's Program Management Construction Management (PMCM) Group is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to work on large, complex wastewater projects with construction values exceeding $500M over a 10-year period. The Senior Construction Manager will serve as a full-time on-site resource as the "eyes and ears" for the client (Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati). This role will involve management of several major overlapping construction activities in a fast-paced delivery environment. Projects may include improvements to wastewater treatment facilities at the two largest WWTPs serving the Cincinnati area. The role is co-located and embedded with client staff in Cincinnati, OH with the other members of the Stantec team, working primarily at the construction site with regular visits to the Program Management Office (PMO). This is an excellent opportunity for an early- to mid-level engineer to work on a diverse range of roadway and aviation projects while learning from experienced professionals and building a rewarding career in transportation engineering. Key Responsibilities What You'll Do * As a Transportation Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, analyzing, and developing transportation infrastructure projects that improve how communities move and connect. You will: * Support senior engineers and project managers in preparing transportation design plans for state, municipal, commercial, industrial, and residential projects - all within a 3D digital environment. * Perform and review design calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. * Contribute to the development of design packages, including roadway geometry, drainage, grading, and plan preparation. * Assist with early project phases, including feasibility studies, permitting, and cost estimating. * Support aviation projects, contributing to runway and airfield design and analysis. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise What You Bring * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field * 3+ years of relevant engineering experience * Successful completion of the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam * Experience working with OpenRoads Designer and GEOPAK * Familiarity with ODOT Design Standards * A strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to grow your technical and project management skills Benefits Why Join MSG?
