Job Title: Chemical Delivery Specialist (CDL required) Department: Operations Location: Dickinson ND Remote Status: Onsite, must live locally after hire. We do not offer rotational schedules, company housing, or relocation assistance. Schedule: 5 days on/2 days off. Essential Duties - other duties as assigned Properly load and unload trucks Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment Deliver chemicals and treat wells in a timely manner, as scheduled Treat wells to prevent corrosion, scale build up, etc. Accurately complete bills of lading (BOLs) and other reports according to company policy Maintain accurate inventory reports according to company policy Timely completion of reports and documentation Maintain driver's logs according to DOT regulations Follow all SOPs (standard operating procedures) Work well both independently and as a team Provide excellent customer service Other Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma/GED and chemical deliveries experience preferred. 1+ years in oil and gas industry required. Physical Requirements: Lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Pull and drag hoses in outdoor environments, include adverse weather. Tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily climbing, standing, crouching. kneeling, sitting, walking, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear, and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin. Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment. Work Environment: Indoors and outdoors with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme winter weather, precipitation, and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil, and gases on a daily basis. Employee will be subject to road conditions found throughout the Williston Basin. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud. Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDSs), operating instructions, and procedure manual. English language proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending.     SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The purpose of this position is to assist in production cable wire and harness manufacturing process by providing rotobin materials, consumable supplies, and some small assembly preparation processes with the goal of preventing cable and harness assemblers from having to move around during their shift and to be able to focus on producing. The production operator will have the responsibility to provide a quality product within the set time standards for the product or any step of the production process as needed. The goal of all operators is to strive to eliminate waste, provide a stable workflow, assist in process improvements, provide input to training needs through evaluation and understanding of defect and process improvement data and to monitor work to insure that a quality product is produced 100% of the time through teamwork. For teamwork, quality production and production schedules to be met it is primary that all employees meet the attendance, productivity and quality work requirements as well as adhere to all of KMM policies and procedures. Perform all tasks involved in the production of KMM's cable and harness products. This includes but is not limited to the duties and responsibilities listed below. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide rotobin materials and consumable supplies to assembly benches and routing tables The ability to determine these needs based upon observation of the assembly floor and being aware of the inventory levels for these materials which are critical to this position as well as the attention to detail and checking work for accuracy. Assemble jumper wires, dual ground, cut sleeving, coil spacers as needed Cuts, strips, crimps, or otherwise assemble the materials using required tooling Required tooling may be hand tools, pneumatic hand or foot tooling or other automated devises. Clean the markings off drawings when assembly is completed. Roll up cables when completed and move to second end shelves Roll out cables for routers Empty trash bags at the routing tables. Lifts production kits, wire bundles and/or wire and move to appropriate destination as designated by the process steps. Depending on the facility and product requirements the process step may require the placement of finished goods into correct packages and boxes in preparation for shipment Maintains a clean and safe work area and practices the 5S + Safety requirements and follow all safety requirements. Learns and retains information relating to chemical usage, handling and disposal. Participates and demonstrates understanding of Lean Manufacturing and the importance of process improvements The ability to work overtime and flexible schedule as needed to meet the customer delivery schedule Attend required trainings and meet the competency requirements as defined by KMM and customer requirements Must consistently meet quality and productivity requirements Evaluate any mechanical or material issues that need correction brought to the attention of the operators' team lead, supervisor, quality department and/or engineering for correction or further investigation Performs other related duties and assignments as required. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks Depending on schedule requirements Material Handler are expected to be available to work in all steps and processes of production operations per their certification requirements and training.
