About this Role IFS InfraSource is looking for a Fuser to be a key member of our field crew. This role is a DOT OQ Gas Pipeline qualified position with experience in the use of all types of fusion equipment and pipefitting procedures. Duties for a Fuser can be physically demanding and require working in an outdoor construction setting. General Job Description: The Packer performs several manual functions with various products and ensures the product is packed to customer specifications. Cleans packaging area routinely before leaving for breaks, including taking white coats from production area back to coat room. Team member has an individual responsibility to report all possible deficiencies or practices that could compromise food safety. Must be willing and able to do paperwork when working on palletizing and keeping track of pallets. Line inspection includes inspecting product on the raw side or ready-to-eat side. Requirements: Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required. Some functions of this position, may require fluctuation of hours. OTHER ACTIVITIES: * Assists in starting up extrusion lines when needed. This includes stringing up the line, cutting scrap using hacksaw, and feeding part into the MRF. * Assists in purging line out for any shutdowns. Puts vinyl tear off in properly labeled Gaylord once it has cooled. * Assists in the training of new associates to defined tasks. * Follows all safety rules and procedures. * Practices good housekeeping skills by keeping work area clean and free of clutter. Keeps all vinyl scrap, labels, and spare cardboard picked up off the floor. * Performs activities in accordance with the procedures outlined in the work instructions. * Performs all other duties as instructed by Supervisor. Responsibilities: * Inspect completed product for function, quality and conformance to detail sheet and control plan specifications. * Prepare product for shipping including assembling boxes, packing, and labeling product. * Operates production machines, machine tools and equipment used to coil, flare, and punch parts per specifications. * Work independently and in teams to ensure a quality product. * Cleaning the work area and production equipment. * Follow ISO procedures Organization and Relationships The Extrusion Packer reports to their assigned Lead/Manager.
