This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex electrical and controls issues, working closely with PLCs, robotics, and drives, and keeping high-volume production equipment running safely and efficiently. You'll play a key role in troubleshooting downtime, supporting PLC and HMI systems, and partnering with maintenance, engineering, and vendors to improve equipment reliability and automation performance. If you have strong Siemens S7 experience, a solid electrical background, and are comfortable working nights in a fast-paced plant setting, this is a strong opportunity to apply your skills where they matter most. Job Description Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedure. Troubleshoot equipment downtime issues using prints with an emphasis on electrical issues related to wiring, switches, sensors, etc. while providing advanced support to various software packages and controls documents. Troubleshoot PLC programs, drive and scanner issues, as needed, for efficient operation of plant machinery. Also troubleshoot HMI Interface and graphics applications for more efficient operator interaction. Control “PG” and laptop devices that are necessary for troubleshooting equipment. Identify and make recommendations for program actions needed to ensure that major issues are resolved. Work in partnership with maintenance technicians, machine vendors and GKN manufacturing engineers to assist in the development of effective automated PLC control and drive systems, to support the production requirements and goals. Ensure that proper equipment shutdown and startup procedures are followed. Troubleshoot robot issues and reteach/touchup points as needed. Provide direction and train maintenance personnel in corrective maintenance, proper wiring and installation of electronic equipment. Assist controls engineers system access, backups and data recovery. Contact vendors to resolve problems related to controls issues. Maintain Lockout/Tagout, CPR, First Aid, Confined Space Entry and other safety related certifications. Endure strict adherence to OSHA, ISO-TS 16949, ISO 14001 and other standards. Qualifications & Experience: AS in controls technology from accredited college or university or Journey Electrician required. Siemens S7 programming required. 4 years experience in manufacturing environment (preferably in Automated production) in lieu of AS degree or Journeyman Electrician. Aptitude to understand logic control (relay & PLC) and how to manipulate the logic to repair problems. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distributions, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis Successfully defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

    **Job Title: Avionics Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician who can effectively manage multiple tasks and follow directions in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for performing maintenance on a variety of corporate aircraft, including Global Express, Gulfstream, Challenger, Citation, Phenom 300, and King Air Turboprop. Your work will align with FAA approved technical data and Jet East Certified Repair Station guidelines. This role requires meticulous attention to paperwork and organizational skills for maintenance shop duties. **Responsibilities** + Perform maintenance on corporate aircraft such as Global Express, Gulfstream, Challenger, Citation, Phenom 300, and King Air Turboprop. + Adhere to FAA approved technical data and Jet East Certified Repair Station guidelines. + Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to assess repair feasibility. + Complete and submit all maintenance, work order, and RTS paperwork accurately. + Engage in maintenance shop cleanup, organization, and basic office duties. + Communicate effectively with supervisors, site reps, and MCC regarding aircraft status changes. + Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals. + Navigate within a Service Hub or A.O.G. environment. + Handle phone and communication responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Experience with aircraft models like Challenger 350, 650, Global 5000/6000, Phenom 300, Cessna Citation, Gulfstream 450/550, King Air. + Proficiency in troubleshooting with a multimeter and calibrated testing equipment. + Familiarity with avionic systems, schematics, FCC, electrical installations, and troubleshooting. + Strong soldering and repair skills for aircraft components. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and Apple products. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Positive attitude towards productivity, safety, and quality maintenance. + Good chemistry and communication with the supervisor. + Confidence in handling communications when the supervisor is not present. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and collaborative work environment where your skills are valued and developed.
