As a CNC Machine Operator 4th Shift, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** CNC Machine Operator 4th Shift
**Location:** Hamilton, OH
**Pay Range:** $20.00 - $22.00 per hour based upon experience
**Shift:** Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6am-6pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications.
+ Read and interpret calipers, micrometers, and CNC prints to ensure parts meet strict tolerances.
+ Complete quality documentation such as inspection reports and quality forms with accuracy.
+ Perform basic troubleshooting and make minor adjustments to maintain machine efficiency.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols and ISO standards.
**What's Needed?**
+ 1-5 years of experience operating CNC machines or similar precision equipment.
+ Proficiency in reading CNC prints and understanding tolerances down to .000.
+ Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
+ Familiarity with machine controls, including start, stop, and emergency stop functions.
+ High school diploma, GED, or relevant trade school experience preferred.

What You'll Do
Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, and grinders
Read blueprints/engineering drawings to determine machining operations
Select tools, fixtures, and settings for materials/jobs
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure tight tolerances
Keep quality, speed, and safety as top priorities
Maintain machines, record data, and collaborate with engineers/quality teams
Follow all safety protocols (PPE, safe machine operation)
Keep your area organized and in line with 5S/lean practices

For team members when they have production issues/problems.
When a machine goes down to get it back up and running as soon as possible.
Provide on-the-job training, knowing the skills of team members and provide training to enhance their skills and ensure documentation is completed.
Process improvements/6S.
Give feedback to programmers on program changes, if applicable.
Identify process improvements and insure they are implemented with communication to the Cell Leader, ME, QE or Programmer.
