We have a new opportunity for a temp with possibility of temp to hire. This position will be located in our warehouse and will support our Prep & Programming team. This team prepares and programs ink cartridges. When we say programming, it is not any kind of computer programming. It is literally just selecting the correct program on the computer screen and then placing the cartridge on a machine and removing itjaq.
So they do need to be able to operate a computer - but nothing difficult or high level.
This is a seated position but we are looking at the possibility of having this person cross-train into another position in the warehouse where they would perform pick and pull. That would involve lifting 50 lbs regularly and maneuvering 250 lbs skids of product. We have had some difficulty in the past where the candidate states they can lift the 50 lbs, but then they cannot pull the skid. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is taller and physically strong enough for the physical aspect of this position.
The pay rate is $16.25 to start. If they are eventually hired on, the pay rate will increase to $16.75. There is also the possibility that this candidate will be able to move into a higher level position
