Responsibilities: Receives tracks and responds to problems reported by customers (e.g. problems impacting multiple users, such as a platform outage). Communicates with customers, IT service providers, and technical components to fully understand problems. Research problems by accessing internal and external knowledge bases (vendor websites, internal engineering websites, and vendor documentation) and/or discussion with peers. Develops and recommends alternatives or long-term solutions to recurring problems. Defines, collects, and implements customer computer engineering requirements for multiple small and mid-scale projects or for a single large-scale project. Designs and develops engineering solutions to meet customer requirements (e.g. to include writing, maintaining, testing, integrating, and implementing software, hardware, and associated documentation). Provides alternative design options to meet customer requirements. Determines hardware and software components. Builds computing environment infrastructure. Develops procedures for installation of hardware, software, or network components. Required: * Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience or a minimum of 10 years of experience. * Must hold an active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph. * Security+ and/or other DOD 8570 Certification.
