Quality Inspectors perform various sorting, inspection, production, and data capture. Quality Inspectors work in partnership with our customers to contain and improve quality issues the most efficient way possible. JOB MISSION
Plans, directs and coordinates cutting material functions: factory allocations, receiving, and shipping of material product to ensure good quality, timely, and effective internal customer service while maintaining a safe working environment.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Maintains a day to day inventory, which also includes performing inventory counts weekly and physical inventory every six months while maintaining a goal from 95 to 100% accuracy.Ensures timely delivery of material to cutters and works with them on any quality issues.Sets up synthetic and leather material.Works closely with other material coordinator(s) on all issues and opportunities.Maintains open communication with various support groups to prevent and/or resolve any quality issues and material shortages.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma and 5 plus years of experience in manufacturing process or a related area required. Prefer an Associate degree (Computer Science or Business) and 3-5 years of experience in the field. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the manufacturing process.Strong demonstrated computer literacy in Microsoft Office (WORD and EXCEL) and e-mail required.Demonstrated ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
