Your Opportunity as Production Operator:
As a part of the Production Team, you are responsible for several bakery manufacturing activities. In this role you will:
Responsible for setting up operation of bakery equipment and manufacturing line, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products per production guidelines.
Ensures compliance with Production/Packaging procedure/practices as well as inspecting all areas within one (1) line/equipment for any operational and/or mechanical issues.
Reports all equipment issues to the supervisor or manager as soon as possible.
Complete and submit reports throughout the day regarding production.
Visually inspects product for quality and quantity.
Monitoring runs and performing basic troubleshooting on our Bakery equipment.
Support quality control programs to ensure production procedures follow best practices of food safety and quality standards.
Understands and complies with all safety procedures that apply to daily operations.
Work safely; follow proper lock out/tag out procedure where applicable.
Maintains a safe and clean environment by adhering to safety policy, 5S SOP, SSOP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) procedures.
Adheres to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.
Responsible for disassembly and sanitization of bakery equipment to meet all food safety requirements and guidelines.
May perform other duties not listed.

The Production Operator I is responsible for the operation of the on line color extruder, Compounding Twin Screw Extruders, operation of all quality testing equipment, the making of concentrates, set up of feed for the lines and finished product packaging and storage. Summary:
Responsible for assembling components of pressure and non-pressure tank new and used products or surface mounted aeration equipment to include mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic circuitry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process work orders, written and oral instructions.
Assemble systems using hand tools, power tools or machines in accordance with work orders and internal quality standards.
Maintain inventory system accuracy by documenting parts used and additional parts needed.
Visually check parts to ensure system quality requirements are met during assembly processes.
Inspect parts to insure quantity, quality, and size.
Report defective material, faulty equipment operations or questionable conditions.
Print tags, attach, package, and assign product assembly number to align with internal part and assembly processes.
Coordinate with material handling, sales, and other departments to expedite orders.
Support shipping and receiving processes as directed by department manager.
Complies with all safety, personal protective equipment, and material handling requirements.
Operation and safe use of forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
Maintain safe and organized working area.
