Food Safety and Quality Responsibilities
Follow GMP policy when in the production facility and encourage your team to do the same.
Understand our SQF policies relating to pest control, visitors, allergen management, and cleaning and sanitation.
Demonstrate awareness of Management's Commitment to SQF and work towards Food Safety and Quality and help the company meet this commitment.
If there is a problem that involves food quality and safety, report to the Quality Assurance Manager so that the CAPA (corrective action, preventative action) log may be filled out, the situation be investigated, and resolved with the goal of continuous improvement of food quality and safety.

What You'll Do:

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and hygiene/safety protocols
Communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors
Keep your work area clean and organized
Rotate through various areas and tasks as needed
Identify and report quality or food safety issues
Lift up to 15 lbs frequently, and occasionally up to 60 lbs, depending on assignment
Stand for the duration of your shift and perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching

Pay -
$15.00 per hour + a $4 shift differential
OBJECTIVE:
To work productively and according to current procedures, instructions, and quality standards in assigned contract area.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Performs production tasks, efficiently, in assigned contract areas including, but not limited to, palletizing and depalletizing, case packing, case sealing, blending, bag hook up, rework, sanitation tasks, inspections, and hand assembly.
Ability to maintain speed or pace depending on production needs
Maintain compliance with GMP's and hygiene standards
Ability to comprehend instructions, verbal and written, and accept feedback.
Ability to work in multiple production areas, as assigned
Follow safety policies, procedures, and practices
Effectively communicate production needs, such as material requests, quality defects, foreign material, or food safety issues to appropriate peers and/or area supervisor.
Ability to stand for an entire shift, lift, twist, bend, stoop, push, and carry up to 15 pounds.
Posses visual acuity to assess quality standards and material integrity
Some production tasks may require the ability to lift and carry 60 pounds, work at heights above ground level, perform functions that require manual dexterity, ability to read, write, and posses basic math skills, comprehension of weights and weight calculations, percentages, number sequences, and distinguish between color codes

Job Summary
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the extraction, concentration, and/or adjusting of materials per Batch Production Records (BPRs) while incorporating cGMPs and following all accommodating SOPs within the manufacturing area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Job Level 1 - Manufacturing Technician
Train to become a signed off operator capable of independent work.
Complete and pass all SOP's/tests assigned for the position.
Can perform all key aspects of the position proficiently:
Performing cleaning and sanitation properly
Disassembling and re-connecting equipment
Performs start-up checks and adjustments as needed
Able to run and operate production proficiently
Can resolve normal and routine machine interruptions
Follows Batch Production Records (BPR) correctly
Maintains current training requirements and certifications independently
