Work closely with other technicians, support staff, and engineers to develop a strong working skill set.
Partner across manufacturing functions to build relationships in downstream and upstream processes.
Provide updates and tracking on all jobs, consumables, and costs to customers and leadership.
Work from schematics, engineering drawings, Manufacturing Work Instructions and written or verbal instructions.
Will also at times troubleshoot, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Running and maintaining GE and EOS metal additive and powder handling machines.
Manage supply, inventory, and procurement of shop consumables.
Basic Qualifications:
-Basic understanding and the ability to work from schematics, engineering drawings, Manufacturing Process Instructions, and written or verbal instructions.
-Understanding and safe use of hand tools such as Torque Wrenches, Sharps, Hand Drills, Pneumatic Tools etc. Also calibrated hand tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers and gauges in a production environment.
-Operate, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, and systems.
-Additive Manufacturing experience.
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements.
Desired Skills:
-Desire to learn or develop basic skills within the technician job scope and ability to demonstrate learning agility to pass both written and hands-on certification requirements.
-Ability to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.
-Experience with the daily operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Laser (LPBD) or Electron Beam Melting (EBM) powder bed fusion machines, powder sieve operation and maintenance. Post-processing of parts (support removal, tumbling, etc.).
-Certified M290, M400, or Spectra H operator with advanced applications training.
-Familiarity with Creo, 3DXpert, or Magics software working with STL files.
-Utilize tools such as SAP and VE-CAMs.
-Ability to do light manual machining work to support build efforts is a plus.
-Running and maintaining a furnace, including stress relief.
-Must be very safety conscious, well versed with Hazmat, supply discipline, FOD and tool control.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $53,900 - $94,875. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform assembly of Li Ion batteries using detailed processes like soldering, resistive welding, insulative coating, epoxy application, crimping and wire harness assembly.
• Use small hand tools and microscopes to complete detailed assembly work following thorough work instructions
• Assist and train other technicians on equipment usage, documentation and battery assembly.

During training and qualification activities hour and shift can be adjusted, including 8-5 M-F for extended periods of times.
Qualifications
· B.S. in related field or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred

SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Technician/Associate is responsible for the safe manufacture of pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs within one of the Corden Pharma Colorado Manufacturing Centers of Excellence. The Technician performs various unit operations on raw materials and intermediates according to written manufacturing procedures and SOPs. The Technician is familiar with hands-on operation of manufacturing process equipment and material handling. The Technician prepares equipment for maintenance and maintains a consistent high level of housekeeping. The Technician displays initiative in completing assigned tasks, the ability to think ahead to prepare for the next steps in processing; and displays a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in their work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Establishes and maintains strong, transparent, and effective day-to-day working relationships between Manufacturing, Maintenance & Facilities, R&D, internal support, regulatory groups, and CPC customers related to assigned duties
Work closely with fellow crew members, supervision, and support groups to safely achieve manufacturing goals
Demonstrate progressive understanding of plant equipment, plant infrastructure systems, and chemical processing principles in one or more CPC Centers of Excellence
Thoroughly follows written procedures; accurately and completely documents operations as executed according to cGMP and Corden Pharma Colorado SOPs
Double checks the work of other operators
Demonstrates the ability to set up and perform operations properly and efficiently, along with understanding computer systems (DCS, LIMS, etc.) related to standard operations in the area
Receives Emergency Brigade training and participates in the brigade as hazmat technical, firefighter, and first aid responder, including EMT and/or full emergency brigade member
Trained in First Aid/CPR
Respond as appropriate to plant upset and/or emergency situations as a brigade member
Demonstrate ability to detect and respond to potential hazards and/or emergency situations in daily operations
Attends all required GMP training sessions and displays an understanding of current Corden GMP, SOPs, and Chemical Operator Training Program
Adheres to housekeeping and safety practices; participates in safety programs offered through the organization
Responsible for properly managing the generation and accumulation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and monitors plant environmental systems
Perform training sessions for subordinate/peers within the work environment to accurately meet production needs and timing
Read and comprehend safety rules and instructions in the use of maintenance, in the use of shop tools and equipment, and in methods and procedures in mechanical drawing and layout work
Activities may include structural demolition of buildings and equipment with focus on dismantling and salvage

The schedule will be Night shift (4:30pm - 5:00am) working a Pitman schedule: of 2 days working, 2 days off, 3 days working, 2 days off, 2 days working, then 3 days off.
During training and qualification activities hour and shift can be adjusted, including 8-5 M-F for extended periods of times.
Qualifications
· B.S. in related field or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred
· 2+ years of related manufacturing experience, pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred
· Previous knowledge of oligonucleotide synthesis, HPLC, UF, conjugation, and lyophilization is advantageous
· Detail-oriented and can perform technical duties following standard operating procedures and general laboratory safety rules
· Excellent math, documentation, communication and operational troubleshooting skills
· Mechanically inclined
· Clean room environment experience desired
· Experience working in a FDA regulated manufacturing environment highly desired.

The Manufacturing Technician position is designed as an introduction to the industry of cGMP manufacturing.
This position is a 2 on, 2 off , 3 on "pitman" Night shift schedule with working hours from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
This position performs all routine/non-routine cleaning of equipment, prepares buffers/medias, glass wash of misc. parts, assembles setups and filters, autoclaves media/materials, tests filter integrity, manages process waste flows and material movement, and executes inventory management tasks at the cGMP facility to support continuous manufacturing operations. This position requires a shift schedule and gowning into a clean room environment. This position requires PPE.
Must be able to document, record activities in electronic systems and comply with regulatory requirements, cGMPs, Policy Documents and SOPs. Must be able to maintain training at 95% or greater. Must always wear proper PPE and follow all safety guidelines outlined by the SOP and site policies when working in the facility.
Must be able to perform general tasks as assigned by Management to support manufacturing, i.e., staging materials, discarding waste, moving equipment, and other general clean room tasks.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning of equipment, glasswash of misc. parts, assembles setups and filters, autoclaves medias/materials, tests filter integrity, manages process waste flows and material movement, and executes inventory management tasks.
Handling and discarding of hazardous and nonhazardous waste.
Computer: Includes maintaining training and job-related functions. Ordering and stocking general supplies in the manufacturing production areas.
Performing other various task as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
Due to non-routine cleanings and the need to adhere to the manufacturing schedule, it is required, if necessary, to stay past the assigned shift to complete such requests. This position requires standing for long periods of time. For cleaning, this position also requires bending, kneeling, and reaching above head. This position is considered “Essential Personnel” which requires 7 days a week work coverage even though the company closes (i.e., inclement weather). This position is required to ensure cGMP production tasks are completed every day.
Salary Range: $21.63/hour-$27.40/hour
*There is an additional 15% shift differential for nightshift positions.
