This position is responsible for a variety of tasks to package quality cheese that meets customer expectations and supports the achievement of the company's vision, mission and values. Essential Functions
Assemble, line, fill and seal 640-pound boxes of cheese according to SOPs.
Operate packaging room production equipment according to SOPs.
Monitor box weight targets according to cheese types.
Maintain good communications with lead and/or supervisor to ensure a safe, continuous product flow and proper maintenance of equipment.
Complete and maintain appropriate paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping.
Actively participate in extraneous prevention and solids recovery.
Operate and monitor assigned food safety preventative controls including verification activities, equipment operation, records requirements and corrective action database.
Comply with all company safety rules to achieve no injuries and no lost-time accidents.
Understand and adhere to all GMPs and food safety policies and procedures and perform all work in a manner that ensures the highest standard of food safety and quality.
Perform regular CIP and general housekeeping responsibilities.
Safely handle, prepare and use chemicals while wearing proper PPE.
Assist in training of new or untrained packaging room employees.
Attend and/or complete required safety and quality training sessions by the assigned deadlines.

What will you do as a Production Forklift Worker?
As a part of the Production Team, the Production Worker is responsible for operating various pieces of equipment in order to produce Coca-Cola products. This position is also responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate and monitor equipment in an efficient manner and replenish materials as needed.
Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area.
Set up machinery ensuring all production materials are available.
Visually inspect production run and document results.
Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties.
Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.
Complete required paperwork as directed.
Analyze production line to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Responsible for the prevention of widespread breakdown in production.
Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
Watch for potential problems on the production line.
Maintain awareness of the schedule and materials needed for the efficient operation of equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of production area and keep all work areas clean through good housekeeping to include but not limited to: sweeping and mopping when necessary, recycling/destroying defective finished goods, proper shut off procedures for equipment at end of day.

Essential Functions
Provide assistance to operators and learn the basics of each position.

Work supportively with the appropriate departments to meet quotas and goals
Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
Follow all shop orders and blueprints
Able to use basic hand tools and read tape measure
Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
Troubleshoot problems and report issues
Must work well in team environment
Based on department, may be required to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND REQUIRED TRAINING
The following certifications and training, if required, will be provided by the company:
JSA completion, Forklift Operations, PPE identification and usage, Crane Training, hazard awareness/identification, Lift table operations, Rigging safety
Understands SQDE Metrics, LDMS, Issue boards, 5S
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
To successfully perform the essential function of this position, employees must have the ability to:
Continuously lift/move 10 pounds; frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Continuously stand; walk; bend/stoop, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above shoulder height; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk; and hear.
Occasionally climb, balance, kneel, reach with hands and arms at waist level and below the waist, and work in limited space.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is continuously exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to high places, fumes, or airborne particles and/or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assembles different facets of a trailer, including but not limited to: inside trim, fenders, rough or finish wiring, and framing in accordance with the work Balances productivity with quality and safety.
Reads and follows blueprints and work orders ensuring a quality product that meets customer demands; performs work as assigned by line.
Obtains raw materials from Material Handlers. Cuts material in accordance with specifications on the cut.
Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues including but not limited to, defects in material, damage to the trailer, and deviations from work.
Ensures that finished product meets quality expectations. Strives for the highest level of quality and understands the need for continuous improvement; supports the concept of “good enough is never good enough.”
Maintains a clean and safe work area; works to minimize scrap, places unused material back in appropriate area, and disposes of waste.
Follows all safety procedures, wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and reports any accidents or near misses to supervisor.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
