Associates are responsible for documenting and updating records throughout the process as well as taking ongoing inventory of ingredients to ensure sufficient stock is present. Manufacturing Level 2 Associates employees are responsible for maintaining standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene and should be able to comply with all food health and safety regulations. They weigh, package and labels boxes and bags of finished marijuana edible and extraction products. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT * Work is performed in a highly sanitized environment with strict protocols for hygiene. * The environment of the kitchen is carefully controlled to maintain optimal conditions for baking and food production. Temperature and humidity levels are regulated to ensure consistent product quality. * Work involves daily exposure to allergens such as marijuana, tree nuts and coconut oil. * Manufacturing Level 2 Associates will be working in a hot environment due to commercial ovens and stovetops. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * All tasks otherwise assigned by Management. * Apply accurate expiration dates to packaging by using the expiration gun. * Assemble boxes. * Baking marijuana edibles. * Box products to match barcodes in an organized order. * Label products with barcodes using proper placement. * Lifting product boxes and moving them to their designated location. * Maintain accurate counts of all marijuana products and supplies. * Operate bakery equipment including but not limited to ovens, stoves & microwaves. * Package marijuana products into their corresponding container(s). * Packaging marijuana edibles for sale. * Weighing marijuana edibles and extraction products. * Work additional hours as needed. REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while preparing marijuana-infused products. * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds including but not limited to bags of dry goods, trays of baked goods, mixing bowls, and other kitchen-related items. * Must be able to perform repetitive motions including but not limited to mixing, kneading, rolling, and scooping. * Must be able to work in a hot environment. The kitchen can get very hot due to ovens and stovetops. * Must be able to handle kitchen equipment including but not limited to mixers, blenders, refrigerators, walk-in freezers and ovens. * Normal range of eyesight and hearing are required (can be corrected). * Must be able to reach, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time. * Must be able to wear hair nets/beard nets, gloves, and a uniform on a daily basis.
