After the pipe is in place, the operator will machine tapered threads into the pipe. During this process, the machine operator is responsible for verifying measurements, such as thread depth and correct taper (30%) * After the threads are cut the operator tests the flange to make sure it screws onto the pipe properly. Equipment may include production line equipment, forklifts or other power equipment. + Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently following the Company Safety Policy, including the lock out/tag out process. + Perform manual tasks such as: loading and supplying production line items, reworking product and loading conveyors. + Quality Assurance and testing compliance according to Company and/or designated facility standards. + Provide general plant, production line and facility clean up (5S). Qualifications + Must be 18 years of age or older. + Production experience, preferably in a food and beverage environment. + Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency. + Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment. + Physically able to safely lift bottles and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. + Forklift experience (required in some locations). + Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends (depending on location). + Ability to inspect materials visually and by sense of smell. + PPE Required (safety shoes, hair nets, goggles, ear plugs). + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions (depending on location) that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. The noise level may be loud at times.
