Job Description This position is responsible for the assembly, installation, testing and calibration of electrical wiring control panels and associated components used for manufacturing systems. Must be able to follow blueprints, bill of materials, schematics, or piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID). This role is also selects, measures and prepares electrical wiring or coaxial cabling. Additionally, this role is responsible for the connection of wiring and labels to panels. This position performs instrument startup, calibration as well as functional and safety testing. This hands-on position ensures that printed parts meet precise specifications through careful monitoring, post-processing, and collaboration with quality and engineering teams. The technician performs machine upkeep, prepares materials, and carries out finishing processes such as media blasting and sanding, all while adhering to safety and quality protocols. Working closely with packers, trainers, supervisors, and quality personnel, the technician contributes to a team-driven culture focused on delivering high-quality, on-time production in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing setting. 2nd Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 3D Printer set-up (filling and mixing resin cassettes, loading and unloading powder carts, scheduling and sending prints to printers) Cleaning, washing, and preparing parts for thermal processing Follow standard operating procedures to meet safety and quality needs Performing daily machine maintenance duties; cleaning, scheduled preventative maintenance, and general repairs. Secondary Processing (media blasting, sanding, and general assembly work). General facility maintenance, including the following 6s processes to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Collaborating with the Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to ensure customer requirements are met Occasional clerical duties such as managing inventory or packaging parts Will help meet weekly metric goals including but not limited to: printer utilization, on time delivery, quality, revenue Qualifications Experience in 3D printing, additive manufacturing, or related manufacturing processes (preferred but not required) Hands-on mechanical aptitude and appreciation for building and working with materials in a production environment. The Ammonia Technician is responsible for maintaining and operating ammonia systems in commercial and industrial environments including inspection, testing, repair, replacement of components, monitoring and controlling ammonia levels and following safety protocols. Responsibilities: Routine maintenance, repairs, safety checks, inspections, modifications, and upgrades on ammonia refrigeration systems. Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults on ammonia refrigeration systems. Installation, testing, and commissioning of ammonia refrigeration systems. Coordination and supervision of contractors working on ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment. Overseeing the boiler treatment program and boiler inspections. Preparing parts lists and purchase requisitions. Creating accurate, clear, complete, and concise reports. Maintaining records of all work performed and equipment inspections. Completing forms such as contractor time sheets, parts used from inventory log, and work orders. Preparing draft RFE descriptions for Ammonia and Boiler systems. Performing routine preventative maintenance procedures on all plant equipment, including refrigeration equipment, and completing associated paperwork. Dismantling, inspecting, repairing, and re-assembling any standard machine or equipment commonly used in the department. Proficiently utilizing calipers, feelers, micrometers, etc., to perform chemical tests on boiler water to ensure correct operation. Coordinating predictive testing on the ammonia system. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years' experience with ammonia refrigeration in the food industry is required Operator I or Operator II or RETA certifications Knowledge of operating and troubleshooting ammonia refrigeration systems. Knowledge of ammonia safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret ammonia piping diagrams. Understanding of Health and Safety regulations. Ability to read technical manuals and understand technical drawings. This position is responsible for the assembly, installation, testing and calibration of electrical wiring control panels and associated components used for manufacturing systems. Must be able to follow blueprints, bill of materials, schematics, or piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID). This role is also selects, measures and prepares electrical wiring or coaxial cabling. Additionally, this role is responsible for the connection of wiring and labels to panels. This position performs instrument startup, calibration as well as functional and safety testing.
