    R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Manufacturing Associate in Novato, CA. Your main responsibilities as a Manufacturing Associate: Operating large-scale bioprocess equipment for Cell Culture, Purification, or Buffer and Media processing. Performing all aspects of processing with a broad understanding of science, compliance, and technical aspects. Displaying competency with process equipment and automated control systems. Performing cleaning and sterilization of parts and equipment used in the manufacturing process. Having knowledge of biotech manufacturing processes and equipment, including cell culture, depth and tangential flow filtration, column chromatography, protein purification and formulation, and/or buffer and media operations. What we are looking for in a Manufacturing Associate: Bachelor's degree in a science-related area or engineering or an associate s degree in a science-related area or a biotech certificate with 2+ years of experience in a biotech manufacturing environment or other regulated industry. (While a BA/BS is preferred, it is not required; a biotech certificate is acceptable). Desired skills: 1-2 years of experience in a GMP and Manufacturing field. The equipment involved includes chromatography skids, TFF skids, buffer tanks, lab washers, and autoclaves. Work Environment: Involves strenuous, repetitive work.
