Operations will be carried out in either a special Powder handling room, a Class 10,000 manufacturing cleanroom or a Class 100 filling and labeling cleanroom.
Manufacturing Technician will perform in-process quality control testing (e.g. viscosities, acid number, pH, or similar tests). The equipment for these tests will be in the manufacturing control room. In addition, Manufacturing Technicians will be required to understand, input data to and use the EQS quality system. They will need a basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and must help the organization maintain ISO compliance.
This position requires that materials be precisely measured, fed and the process controlled in compliance with batch sheets, SOP's and SOC's. Manufacturing Technicians are expected to monitor raw material and intermediate inventory levels to assist in ensuring that they are available in sufficient amounts for production demands. They will also be called upon to perform cycle counts and audit material movement transactions. Input transactions in the inventory system (currently IPS).
Manufacturing Technicians will handle waste and RCRA "Hazardous Waste" associated with the job, (as defined in State Regulations). The Technician is also responsible for labeling and packaging finished product for shipment in the proper manner to assure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Responsibility:
Careful and accurate performance is required so that all materials are correctly weighed, loaded, timed, and controlled to assure consistency of quality.
The Technician is responsible for recording weights of material, yield, finished inventory, temperature, instrument readings, and keeping records of the work performed and entering and updating online inventory systems. The Technician must work in an efficient manner, eliminating waste wherever possible.
All necessary personal protective equipment and cleanroom uniforms required by the job are to be worn.

Thanksgiving is an especially busy time for us, in addition to producing our sweet and savory products we will be building inventory to meet the increased demands for our CheeseCake and savory meals.
We also prepare a complete take home Thanksgiving dinner which includes a hot turkey. We do work on Thanksgiving Day until 2 PM. Each employee gets one of these dinners to take home and share with their family.

Operate one or more machine or special purpose machines to crush and or size raw materials to specifications on production basis by performing the following duties:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Lifts materials manually or using forklift to secure in fixture or loads automatic feeding device
Forklift inspection before every shift
Starts machine, engages feed, and observes operation
Inspects and sizes products to verify conformance to specifications
Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine
Replaces worn machine accessories, using hand tools.
Tends machines and equipment other than crushing/grinding equipment
Must be able to manually load 50 lbs. onto pallet
Record and keep accurate records for all production at end of each shift (production report - detailing the day)

Understands customer and product requirements, monitors and adjusts processes to ensure compliance.
Understands environmental regulations and complies fully.
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
2-5 years working in a manufacturing environment
Experience working in a team
Ability to work in a logical organized manner
Able to work safely using tools and equipment
Ability to work effectively, efficiently and safely to schedules and deadlines
Chemical manufacturing experience Desired
Lean manufacturing (including 5S) Desired
