Responsibilities and Duties
This position is responsible for a variety of manufacturing processes, including sawing operations, column and truss construction, material handling, bundling, forklift operation, loading and packing lumber, loading trucks, handling hardware, receiving materials, and various other operations.
* Assemble Trusses and Gables using hammer and tape measure
* Operate Radial Arm Saw
* Manually stack wood as it comes off the machine
* Assist with finger joiner-tape measure and stack
* Properly package and handle incoming/outgoing orders
* Material picking
* Verify quantities of items pulled and record in ERP system
* Aid in cycle counts as called upon to do so
* Package materials in a manner that ensures their safe delivery
* Responsible for the performing daily cycle counts of various types of inventory
* Tracking past due backorders verses incoming material
* Unload material and handle material from truck with forklift as needed and required
* Work in various areas of the plant based on business needs
