This position reports to the Production Supervisor
Responsibilities/Job Description:
Prepare, pour, weigh (metric and non-metric), blend, and determine mixing sequences of food products assistance
Read and interpret recipe formulas ensuring all ingredients have been compiled
Provide support to maintain the plant/facility to GMP standards/requirements by sweeping, mopping, cleaning and/or sanitizing floors, production equipment and parts, utensils, work surfaces and countertops, walls, racking, desktops, scales, etc.
Wear PPE as required and/or instructed
Learn to assist and operate designated equipment levers and/or controls to perform manufacturing operations per SOP/Instructions
Participate in on-the-job training as required, including cross-training in other departments to meet business needs
Work in a team setting
Ability to record, calculate and verify data while also ensuring accurate, clear, and complete documentation for GMP records
Learn how to read and interpret gauges, vacuum, pressure, and temperature levels
Assist in collecting testing, packaging, and other support for production data for each food batch or operation
Learn and assist in inspecting plant equipment for leaks, blockages, proper function, and/or other malfunctions
Assist in visually inspect food for consistency in texture, clarity, and bouquet
Learn how to operate heavy equipment such as a forklift, order picker, floor cleaners, etc.
Work safely, adhering to all company and OSHA safety regulations, policies, and/or expectations
Perform basic duties and/or tasks as directed by your supervisor and/or Management and comply with daily production schedule support
Comply with all written policies including but not limited to; all company policies, work instructions, SOPs, and GMP requirements
Flexibility to learn and perform other duties as needed and assigned including but not limited to, working overtime, working weekends, and flexing work schedules up or down to meet business needs
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, frequently reach with hands and arms, twist, bend frequently, stoop, squat, lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow instruction in English

Records all item and lot number information on production ticket. Documents and updates mix tickets and log book, ensuring that all information is written truthfully and legibly. Enters all information into computer system for tracking and accountability purposes, ensuring that all information is correct.
Lifts and places raw materials into appropriate tote or tank equipment or mixers via automatic or manual lifting. Properly labels bulk containers, mixes etc.
Keeps Quality Control and Research & Development departments informed, to ensure correct amounts of raw materials are used and to recommend improvements to existing products.

Essential Duties:
Responsible for the set up and operation of the machine within accepted safety practices and the allotted time frame.
Properly perform necessary setting adjustments.
Properly perform film changes and ribbon changes including changeover from one dye to another.

Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for a Manufacturing Technician in Reno, NV. This position works 10 hours Monday through Thursday - shift TBD. Initial training hours will vary.
Key Responsibilities include:
In a cleanroom environment, assemble, configure, install, and test mechanical components and electro-mechanical components.
Utilize various pressure, flow, calibration and temperature instrumentation.
Perform product flow testing of flow restrictors and monitor and record test data.
Perform verification testing and meet quality standards.
Perform visual inspection of flow restrictor assemblies and incoming production material and collect samples for further inspection if required.
Package and label flow restrictors for inventory and shipment.
Work from detailed assembly instructions, drawings and specifications, under guidance of the manufacturing engineer.
Skills and Knowledge:
Required:
Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems
Knowledge of electrical and related mechanical principles, assembly applications and sequences
General electrical assembly experience and knowledge of electrical and related mechanical principles
Soldering skills
Desired:
Certificate or AS degree from a technical school or equivalent experience
Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office with emphasis on Excel
Ability to read and understand schematics/blueprints preferred
Knowledge of cleanroom protocol helpful but not required

PURPOSE:
The Foundry Operator plays a vital role in PCC Carson City's precision casting operations, supporting the production of high-quality metal components used in aerospace and industrial applications. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for preparing molds, operating foundry equipment, and ensuring materials and tools are ready to keep production running smoothly. This role offers hands-on experience with specialized processes, opportunities to build technical skills, and the chance to contribute to a team that delivers mission-critical products.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Casting Preparation & Equipment Operation
Preheat ovens and load molds in accordance with the casting schedule, verifying mold identification, loading position, oven temperature, and oxygen levels.
Verify ingots against pour schedule and load alloy materials to meet production requirements.
Operate vacuum cast furnace and related foundry equipment with attention to safety and quality.
Materials & Supplies
Maintain daily readiness of foundry equipment and consumables, including filling hot top cans, restocking kaowool pads, and changing crucibles.
Load cup ovens, stage carts, and keep supplies organized and accessible.
Complete and submit daily supply sheets to supervisor.
Housekeeping & Maintenance
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by cleaning foundry and invest areas, removing waste, and vacuuming floors and equipment.
Assist with changeover and cleaning of tanks in the investment department.
Record downtime and support preventive maintenance activities.
Other Duties
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager to support overall production goals.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and reach regularly throughout the work shift.
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds independently.
Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception required for safe operation of tools and equipment.
Must be able to work in a foundry environment with exposure to heat, dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED required.
