Key Responsibilities
* The Manufacturing Hangers & Multi-Trade Fabrication Technician is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of various types of hangers and supports used in electrical, plumbing, and sheet metal systems. This role requires the ability to work across multiple trades, read drawings, operate fabrication equipment, and ensure all work meets quality, safety, and project specifications.
* Hanger Manufacturing & Fabrication: fabricate and assemble metal hangers, brackets, supports, and related components. Cut, bend, drill, and shape materials such as steel, aluminum, and strut.
* Operate shop equipment including band saws, drills, presses, shears, and hand tools.
* Measure and inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
* Build and prepare hangers and supports for: Electrical systems (conduit, cable trays, panels); Plumbing systems (piping, valves, fixtures); Sheet metal systems (ductwork, HVAC components).
* Assist with layout and preparation based on drawings and field requirements.
* Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, and sheet metal workers to ensure proper fit and function.

Qualifications

**Responsibilities**
+ Operate secondary processing equipment including vibratory finishing, grinding/buffing wheels, laser marking systems, and vapor degreasers.
+ Deburr machined components as required to meet quality standards.
+ Assist with assembly, labeling, and packaging of finished products.
+ Perform and record line clearance activities.
+ Conduct daily preventative maintenance checks on machinery and equipment.
+ Support additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to 5S principles.
+ Follow all procedures and ensure compliance with the company's Quality System.
+ Recommend process improvements and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
+ Consistently maintain high quality and productivity levels.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
+ Ability to operate hand tools, machinery, and secondary processing equipment.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and safety protocols.
+ Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
+ Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with deburring, packaging, assembly, microscopes, micrometers, calipers, drop indicators, CMM, machine operation, and CNC.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
