About the Role The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for operating our newly expanded automated SMT line, where we produce printed circuit boards for our LED displays. The right candidate will work diligently to assure that all products are manufactured with integrity and free of error. It's a full-time schedule with the benefit of long weekends built in. Role Responsibilities Properly operate equipment on the automated line. Diligently monitor machine performance, performance basic troubleshooting activities and escalate issues through chain of command. May need to hand place electronic components on printed circuit boards with careful attention to detail. Perform timely basic daily and weekly preventive maintenance on the machines Maintain a clean and organized workcell. Follow all safety requirements and raise safety concerns to the Safety Committee when observed. Follow written and oral instructions and provide process feedback for continuous improvement. Perform additional duties as assigned. Role Requirements High school diploma or GED. You are self motivated with at least 1 year of Manufacturing experience. Flexibility to work in different manufacturing work cells as needed. Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of up to 100lbs.
