Department Overview: Integrated Healthcare: NENA has a collaborative group of 28 Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians as part of the Tufts Medicine Health System with over 700 affiliated doctors and a clinical affiliation with Tufts Medical Center. Subspecialties: NENA subspecialists include epileptology, stroke, movement disorder, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular, and migraine specialists. Collaboration: NENA provides patient care to over 64,000 patients throughout the Merrimack Valley, and through our partnership with Tufts Medicine, we will continue to expand access to healthcare including plans to build a neuro-immunology program and development of a Memory Center. Responsibilities: Community Setting: NENA currently has five locations throughout the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts and New Hampshire which house neurologists, neurosurgeons, pain management physicians, psychiatrists, rheumatologists, and various support personnel. In this role, you will serve the culturally diverse communities of Southern New Hampshire, Greater Lowell, and Lawrence, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for outpatient visits in the clinic, inpatient rounding, and surgical first assist. The anticipated call schedule is 1:5 weekends, 2 weeknights/month, and 1 holiday/year. * Perform scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs on V•I Chip production and test equipment in order to meet production schedules and ensure optimum operation of machinery. * Provide continuous technical support to production operators. * Train and evaluate operators on process and equipment knowledge. * Responsible for maintaining and purchasing spare parts, and supplies inventories; determining inventory levels, anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; verifies receipt of such. * Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. * Works to improve; debug and optimize setups & change over. Education / Qualifications * Associate's degree in electro-mechanical / electronic engineering or equivalent required. * Self-motivated, hands on technician who can work well within a team environment. Possess a high sense of urgency and the ability to work with limited supervision. * Minimum of 5 years of experience directly supporting production line equipment and systems such as: SMT pick and place system, AOI equipment, reflow ovens, automated glue dispense equipment, test handler, tester and test equipment (test socket and circuit cards), laser maker, PCB saw system and molding machines. * Knowledge of the following equipment is a plus: Universal equipment (Genesis platform), Disco saw, Fico molding system, BTU reflow oven, Asymtek (Axion platform), Delta handler, Rofin laser, Stalhi lapping system. * Must have proven success in identifying, troubleshooting and performing repairs of equipment with problems of a mechanical or electrical nature. * Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes and principles * Ability to train and mentor manufacturing personnel, and other engineering aide/maintenance technician. * Experience developing work instructions * Must have strong mechanical system understanding aptitude and a working knowledge of pneumatics elements. * Demonstrated electrical trouble shooting skills and ability to read electrical schematic. * Experienced in programming and debugging automated equipment. * Working knowledge of PLC's, servos, and industrial electronics a plus. * Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment with changing priorities.
