Job Responsibilities
Sets up, starts and runs all machinery
Weighs ingredients to meet recipe specification and inserts into machinery, or ensures the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area and inserts pre-blended materials into machinery
Monitors production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Troubleshoots equipment and processing issues
Operates machinery to mix, extrude/discharge or handle materials
May take samples of materials to lab for evaluation and instructions on any batch adjustments if needed
Performs all required machine cleaning
Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc
Requires standing and sitting for extended periods of time, talking and listening

Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines according to position Standard Work Instructions (SWI)
Clean and prepare workstation and machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform intermediate troubleshooting on mechanical equipment and resolve minor jams.

Uphold cleanliness and organization in the work area using 5S methodology.

A Sterile Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the manufacturing of sterile liquids for commercial distribution and clinical trials. Personnel in this position will support the production operation by handling aseptic cleaning and specializing in more than one of the processing areas (cleaning, formulation, aseptic filling, equipment preparation, terminal sterilization, etc). •Able to implement, follow, and continuously improve safety, environmental, and health guidelines and procedures.

Work Environment:
•12-hour shifts. 6pm-6am. Site runs 24/7 and includes 2-2-3 work schedule.
$1.20/hour shift premium paid for hours worked on night shift.
•Must be able to work overtime, including holidays & weekends, as needed, or scheduled.
•The ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.
•Standing and walking continuously during entire shift, 10-12 hours at a time. Ability to climb stairs and steps in work area.
