Key Responsibilities Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineering teams/Customer to optimize SMT processes, including solder paste application, component placement, reflow profiles, and quality control procedures. Analyze production data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and yield. Technical Support: Respond to technical inquiries from operators, engineers, maintenance personnel and Customer regarding SMT equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and component placement issues. Assists/Lead diagnosing problems through analysis of error codes, machine logs, and visual inspection, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. Provide remote troubleshooting support via phone, email, and remote access tools. Conduct on-site troubleshooting and repairs as needed, including adjustments to machine parameters and component placement settings.     The Manufacturing Specialist can do all of the setups and tool changeovers for all machines in the assigned area, adjust tool offsets, and perform basic machine maintenance. The Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for keeping machines running and free of non-maintenance related shut downs.
