This will involve set up, adjusting, maintaining, and configuring processing equipment according to assigned specifications, and regular communication with production personnel and supervisors and the completion of required paperwork. Must insure proper coding is on the bottle, cans, boxes/trays, and if applicable the graphics are acceptable. Must insure closures and lids are properly applied. Verify flavor and size according to schedule. Report any major defects to the Lead person and/or Manager. Monitor the machine while running. Check to see that all bottles, cans are packed into the box correctly. Fill glue pot's as necessary. Verify case code is correct as scheduled. Clear your machine of all products at end of each run and at the end of your shift. Must follow the work rules at all times. GMP compliance MUST be adhered to at all times. Is responsible to report any quality issue to the Lead person, QA Technician and/or Manager. Assist in relieving other operators for lunch breaks. Keep work area clean at all times. Purpose and Mission * Responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient, high-quality, and safe manufacturing. Key Activities and Responsibilities * Machine Operation: Operate production machinery according to safety and efficiency standards, monitor machinery during operation to ensure smooth and efficient production. * Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards, perform quality control checks and report any defects or issues. * Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues. * Material Handling: Load and unload materials onto machinery as required. Ensure materials are available and properly staged for production. * Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, including production volume and machine downtime. Document any malfunctions or abnormalities with equipment.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and promote a culture of safety within the workplace. Recognize and report potential hazards. * Collaboration: Work with other team members to ensure equipment is in proper working order. Assist in training new production operators. Responsibilities: Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, including following all safety procedures and performing manual and visual quality inspection of products as assigned Responsible for cleaning equipment and area before, during, and after shift May be responsible for sorting product as needed to ensure quality shipments Assist in changeovers when needed Is responsible for cross-training across multiple operations such as presses, palletizers, seamers and/or slitters Responsible for working directly with team members to meet all safety, quality and productivity goals Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Experience in a fast-paced, Manufacturing Environment Must have the willingness and ability to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors and other levels of the organization to create a positive, team-oriented environment Ability to read and write in English Basic Math skills such as addition, subtraction and taking measurements Must be willing to work evening or night shift and weekends as needed based on business need

Role Summary The Manufacturing Technician supports the production of in‑process materials, components, and finished medical devices by following established manufacturing protocols and strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This role requires strong attention to detail, consistent documentation, and hands‑on operation of specialized equipment and processes. Schedule Initial schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM As operations expand, the role will transition to a later shift; schedule flexibility is required. Key Responsibilities Operate manufacturing processes including electrospinning, cryomilling, plasma treatment, and chemical processing to produce composite materials. Support cross‑functional research and development activities. Draft, update, and improve work instructions, SOPs, and inspection procedures. Perform manufacturing investigations, root‑cause analysis, and trend analysis to resolve production issues. Execute process validation activities to confirm reproducibility, scalability, and ongoing quality assurance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, biomedical engineering, or related field (0-2 years experience); OR 2+ years of experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Hands‑on experience with materials processing or machine operation. Ability to meet deadlines, manage milestones, and execute tasks with high reliability. Experience working with work instructions, inspection procedures, or cleanroom manufacturing. Exposure to investigations, trend analysis, or CAPA processes. Familiarity with GMP manufacturing, FDA regulatory expectations, and quality systems. Additional Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
