Lehigh Valley Dairy has immediate job openings for well-versed machine operators to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Machine operators will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:
•Reads and follows written and electronic batch records

What You Will Do
As a Production Operator, you are responsible for making the highest quality fresh foods that will nourish pets and help them live healthier lives! You will be part of a team operating various production equipment, moving ingredients across the cooking process to packaging the ready to eat fresh meals to be delivered to our customers.
How You How You Will Make an Impact
* Perform duties with a safety-first approach and support a "Safety First" culture
* Processing and cooking raw meat, vegetables, and dry ingredients
* Manually loading ingredients as well as operating machines using a computer terminal and PLC touch screens
* Packaging cooked product into plastic packaging, packing into boxes, palletizing and shrink wrapping
* Recording data on product throughout the shift. Cooking times/ temperatures, verify batch ingredients, and finished product count/inventory
* Responsible for startup, assembly/disassembly, changeovers, and shutdown of processing machinery and processing line equipment
* Accurately completes paperwork related to production schedule inventory, HACCP plan, and/or quality standards
* Is responsible for complete processing area machine operation
* Responsible for weighing and staging ingredients for batch making
* Follows all relevant SOPs and corrective action procedures
* Cleans and sanitizes machine parts, equipment, and other areas.
* Assures food safety standards with regards to GMPs and HACCP plan are being followed by self and fellow employees
* Follows established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook
* Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 1+ years of experience in production within manufacturing, ideally in the food or beverage industry
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Solid problem solving and decision making skills
* Must be able to work in a refrigerated (40 degrees) food manufacturing environment
* Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds frequently without assistance
* Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motion
* Ability to spend significant time standing on the manufacturing floor
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft D365 ERP, Microsoft office)

The Manufacturing Technician performs Manufacturing activities including producing and testing product, troubleshooting and improving manufacturing processes-The Manufacturing Technician will operate complex processes and/or provide technical support for the manufacturing area to which they are assigned (Cable, Assembly, Plating, Extrusion, Tube Drawing, etc.).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Set-up and Operate complex or precision processes as assigned.
Test Product using such equipment as Network Analyzers as assigned
Subject-matter-expert for a given process
Provide technical support and oversight to production in order to meet quality, cost, and on-time delivery goals.

Amphenol CIT is a clean facility, housing different machinery, equipment, processes, and chemicals which produce potential hazards in the work environment such as: ergonomic, chemical, machine point of operation, and powered industrial vehicle traffic. These hazards are controlled through means of engineering controls, such as machine guarding, and administrative controls, such as safety policies and programs. In certain areas of the facility, employees are required to wear Personal Protective equipment such as Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses, Safety Toe Shoes, and hand protection.

This is the perfect opportunity for craft beer enthusiasts looking to get into the brewing world. Iron Heart Canning is the quality leader in mobile beverage canning, our strive for operational excellence sets us apart from the competition. With warehouses operating in 27 states, Iron Heart provides onsite canning support for breweries, wineries, and other beverage manufacturers. This is a part-time/seasonal position as a Canning Technician I, whose responsibilities include setting up and breaking down equipment, ensuring all Clean-In-Place procedures meet Iron Heart standards, and maintaining the flow of cans to the canning line. You'll need to pull 150-lb. pallets of cans, push the 800-lb. canning line into place (it is on wheels), stay on your feet for lengthy 8-12-hour shifts (federal/state law lunch breaks required), and perform other physical tasks as required.
Flexible Schedule: Every week is different, depending on the breweries scheduled. Long hours and overnight stays are common.
Hardworking: Pride in your work, self-motivation, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are all essential.
Quick Learner: There is a lot to learn as our procedures and processes are always improving.
Beer Knowledge: Home brewing or brewery experience is a big plus, as is a general appreciation for great craft beer.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
4-year college degree preferred but not required
Packaging Technician Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of conditions at job sites including loud noise, high and low temperatures and small working areas.
