Key Responsibilities Support facility qualification, start-up activities, and development of GMP operating paradigms for cell therapy and viral vector manufacturing. Proven ability to execute cGMP operations safely and accurately. Fast learner, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment. Physical Requirements Ability to visually verify batch records, SOPs, equipment parameters, and product quality (corrective lenses acceptable). Ability to stand for extended periods, step over gowning benches, and aseptically don full sterile and non-sterile gowns. Work Schedule Shift work, weekends, and holiday coverage required to support timely delivery of patient therapies. Minimum Requirements Additional Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Machine and Tool Technology or related field. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. * One year or more experience in a research and development setting with exposure to components of testing, analysis and research and a proven ability to operate lab equipment. * Experience in design software such as AutoCAD, Mastercam or SolidWorks * Lab or shop experience in at least two (2) of the following disciplines: additive manufacturing, machining, metallurgy, inspection, or automation * Proven experience in maintaining shop and lab appearance, tools and equipment organization and storage, and overall shop and lab cleanliness and safety. * Competency in fundamental material science. * Competency in basic blueprint reading. Preferred Qualifications * Demonstrated experience supporting research projects in the following disciplines: additive manufacturing, machining, metallurgy, inspection, or automation. * Experience in MasterCAM or NX. * Testing and Analysis data compilation, data filtering, and reporting. * Strong communication skills. * Works well with others in a collaborative setting. * Able to self-initiate, take ownership of issues and comfortable with decision-making responsibility. * Technical report writing and presentation skills. * Aptitude for teaching.
