At Kimberly-Clark we spend millions of dollars with external manufacturing partners every year. Our Global Supply Chain External Manufacturing team ensures that we utilize thorough and efficient standard processes in qualifying new partners and managing our existing partner base around the world. This team's mission is to provide innovative external manufacturing services and solutions to Kimberly-Clark Consumer businesses that will grow revenue and support operating profit improvement to enable KC to lead the world in essentials for a better life.

The Global Supply Chain External Manufacturing Team is seeking a Consultant to provide process building, sourcing, and manufacturing expertise for externally manufactured products. Excellent project management, LEAN systems and relationship management skills are highly valued. We use innovative thinking and analysis, and a passionate service orientation to deliver results to the businesses we support.

The primary responsibilities for the role include development, deployment, and maintenance of the processes utilized in external manufacturing, leading new and existing product sourcing programs to meet the business/project needs as well as managing relationships with key suppliers and internal customers. A structured external manufacturing management process is used to manage the entire contract life cycle from product concept initiation to supplier exit.


Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the influencing strategy for representatives from all businesses to develop process standards for effective external manufacturing management. Document the standards and maintain them with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Work with internal customers, global Procurement, and other Supply Chain functions to develop sourcing strategies for externally manufactured products which will best meet business needs at the lowest total cost of ownership.
• Support the identification, evaluation and selection of suppliers that meet or exceed internal customer needs and consider all source-to-shelf costs and opportunities. Support Procurement's external manufacturing-related request for proposals (RFPs), providing clear guidance and structure to the process as well as leading the analysis of supplier proposals.
• Coordinate overall external manufacturing process controls, ensuring compliance to critical process components and driving overall process health. Lead the compilation and reporting of team and supplier KPIs and other performance measures in coordination with Global Supply Chain.
• Analyze the supply base, reduce risk, and optimize total cost of ownership to maximize value for Kimberly-Clark.
• Lead or co-lead initiatives along with our external partners to eliminate waste and variability in the supply chain including planning, managing and implementing major projects in a repeatable process to realize results.
• Execute benchmarking initiatives with consumer products peer companies to drive business-relevant improvements to external manufacturing.
• Coordinate required regulatory, social responsibility, quality, and internal control reporting and auditing of external manufacturers
• Develop and maintain a database of K-C owned assets at external manufacturers and ensure proper controls.
• Develop and maintain a database of external manufacturer contracts and track key contractual elements.
• Participate as needed in special projects, team and organization-building initiatives.
Qualifications:
The following qualifications are preferred:
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or a related discipline
• 5 plus years or more of work experience in a supply chain, procurement, project management, plant or staff operations or similar role.
• Experience working in a consumer products business
• Experience in leading by influence
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time
• Fluency in English with other languages a plus

You have (qualifications):Extensive experience within the NetSuite standard and advanced Manufacturing module.Thorough understanding of NetSuite WIP & Routing functionality.Knowledge of the various inventory costing methods within NS including standard costing method.Understanding of Advanced manufacturing with previous implementation experience of the module.A successful candidate should be able to lead and understand client's manufacturing terminology and understand. Understanding of BOM structures and their relations to WO build process.Implementation knowledge of the NetSuite Quality module.Ability to clearly define and gather requirements relating to NS MFG module.Knowledge of NetSuite financial module and ability to tie that the MFG process. Candidate with industry experience of the NetSuite MFG module is preferred. Clear understanding of the sale fulfillment process in NS.Ability to fluently guide the customer through al warehouse-related transactions such as inventory adjustments, worksheets, inventory transfers, Bin transfers, bin putaway sheets, inventory replenishment, and cycle counting.Knowledge of the NetSuite supported replenishment methods including: Time-phase replenishment , Material Requirement Planning, Reorder PointsClear understanding of the purchasing process in NS and its expected GL implication for the various costing methods used in the account.

The Manufacture Consultant - APAC Delivery provides expertise, maintenance, support and development of manufacturing services to ensure stable operation, availability and the application interfaces support production processes.
Job Responsibilities

* The role provides application management including developing, installing, configuring, upgrading, administering, monitoring and maintaining the manufacturing applications to keep them in a usable state, ensuring they are correct, consistent and available at all required times.
* The role provides second level support and coordination of external partners, internal third level support to external vendors including the following ITIL services: incident management, problem management, request fulfilment, change management, test management and continuous improvement.
* It is expected you will also be a key technical resource for projects delivering new or upgraded services

Background & Skills

* The MFG Consultant deals with multiple stakeholders. A strong ability to build relationships and communicate with different levels of management is essential.
* We are seeking a candidate who works with a can-do attitude and is efficient and innovative.
* It is expected that the successful applicant will have 4 to 7 years' experience in complex IT applications management and business processes, with advanced skills in applications management, delivery and support.
* The role focus is manufacturing applications and services, such as MES systems(Siemens IT, OP Center, SAP ME or other relevant solutions), MS-SQL, etc.
* It is expected you have working knowledge of relational databases and web services. An interest in and understanding of manufacturing concepts is desirable. An applications development background will be highly regarded.
* ITIL Foundation Level certification is required. A degree qualification in IT or a related discipline will be highly regarded. An understanding of Agile methodologies i.e. Scrum, Lean or others is desirable.
* Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management or equivalent.5+ years of delivery experiences, business development in industrial practice and development of MES solutions
* Understands and conversant in the Manufacturing and Products Industry issues, business process models and relevant digital technologies
