The Global Supply Chain External Manufacturing Team is seeking a Consultant to provide process building, sourcing, and manufacturing expertise for externally manufactured products. Excellent project management, LEAN systems and relationship management skills are highly valued. The primary responsibilities for the role include development, deployment, and maintenance of the processes utilized in external manufacturing, leading new and existing product sourcing programs to meet the business/project needs as well as managing relationships with key suppliers and internal customers. A structured external manufacturing management process is used to manage the entire contract life cycle from product concept initiation to supplier exit.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the influencing strategy for representatives from all businesses to develop process standards for effective external manufacturing management. Document the standards and maintain them with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Work with internal customers, global Procurement, and other Supply Chain functions to develop sourcing strategies for externally manufactured products which will best meet business needs at the lowest total cost of ownership.
