This person will act as the liaison between the Manufacturing facility and its Engineers. Serve as a central point-of-contact for the overall process, addressing questions that arise and connecting team members to the appropriate resources as needed in order to ensure project success. Work with the Vehicle Program Management team to define key performance indicators as related to the engineering part review process and approval status. The Topeka Manufacturing Plant currently has an opening to fill the position of Accounts Payable/Payroll Admin counterpart. This role will work alongside both current functions to further administrative accuracy and task completion within each department. It is a Level 2 full-time Admin position, which reports directly to the Performance Manager. Selection for the position will be based on interviews.
Responsibilities
Payroll job duties:
* Reconcile payroll reports and driver reports.
* Customer service, driver core and outside vendors.
* Understand and be able to explain Vacation, Sick, and Holiday policies.
* Extensive and effective communication with various functions both internally and externally to ensure successful and accurate processing of payroll.
* Overtime as needed including weekends.
* Log absences in Attendance tracker.
* Track Personal, Sick leave and Funeral Leave for hourly employees.
* Track attendance and performance for all employees.
Accounts Payable:
* Use Oracle and SAP for bill payment.
* Work with managers on ordering through my Buy.
* Fuel Bay - enter all fuel, keep daily tally and spreadsheet.
