Position Summary
Under the direction of the department leadership, prepares quality biological blood components within the prescribed time following regulatory and operational standards as specified in the Standard Operating Procedures and departmental procedures.

COMPENSATION:
$18.04/hr.+ based on experience - paid training provided

Electronics Technician (2nd Shift)

Responsible for maintaining the operation and functionality of a large Integrated Facility Management System (FMS) which consists of a Proprietary Fire Alarm System, HVAC Control System, Lighting Control System, Closed-Circuit Television/Camera System, and various other control systems. Other duties may include snow removal, operating heavy equipment, data entry, facilities on-call responsibilities, as well as supporting other needs of the Airport as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
This class specification represents only the core areas of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the needs of the department.
Perform routine testing, calibration, troubleshooting, repair and installation of CCTV systems, access control, paging and mechanical systems
Maintain associated FMS local area network (LAN) components, including all metallic and fiber optic communication paths and associated work station PC's
Assist other technicians in maintaining the entire FMS
On-call to respond to system malfunctions and assist system users
Recommends all maintenance plans, additions, and improvements to the Airport's Electronic Access Control, Security, and Public Safety Systems.
Develops and recommends Electronic Access Control, Security, and Public Safety Systems, including the selection of compatible replacements for obsolete equipment.
Works with other Airport groups as a subject-matter expert in Electronic Access Control, Security, and Public Safety Systems to provide support in operational issues, project planning, and design layout.
Complete work orders and record time/material utilized on jobs, through a computer based asset management system.
Assist with contractors to meet Airport standards and developing improvements to facilities equipment.
Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree in Electronics or a related field and five years of related experience or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Role Summary:
Performs diverse assignments in support of product development and manufacturing. Required Qualifications:
• Associates degree in a Manufacturing, Engineering or Technology related fields, or a High School diploma and 2 years' experience as defined by having demonstrated electrical specific skills at a technician equivalent role proven in a formal educational and/or work environment.
• Proficiency to logically troubleshoot at subsystem and system level, using identifiable problem-solving techniques
