The Senior Industrial Engineer - BESS will be focused in the assembly of our electrical panels and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) cabinets, driving the efficiency of both physical and human assets to improve operational costs. This position is expected to work closely across functional departments in support of NPD, material evaluations, product quality improvements, or other initiatives. In addition, this position will work alongside senior management in terms of strategic capacity planning, including new facilities and will actively lead or co-lead key projects in this area. This position will also partner and support Lean Manufacturing deployment across Shoals and will become a Subject Matter Expert and participate in Train the Trainer workshops and deployment across the enterprise. The position requires frequent interaction with many Shoals departments as well as suppliers and contractors.
