This role is critical to scaling a multi-facility manufacturing plaƞorm and will partner closely with plant leadership, supply chain, and corporate finance to drive accountability, operational excellence, and alignment with company-wide policies. The Controller will also play a key role in ERP implementation and ongoing optimization. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal company policies. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and key plant performance metrics. Analyze financial and operational performance; provide actionable insights to senior management to optimize profitability. Oversee preparation and presentation of financial reporting for executive leadership and the Board. Ensure financial documentation, disclosures, and audit trails meet corporate governance and policy requirements. Manufacturing Cost Accounting Oversee accounting for manufacturing costs-including direct labor, overhead absorption, and raw materials-ensuring consistency with corporate standards. Build and then oversee the processes around inventory cycle counts, BOM accuracy, and standard cost updates. Partner with procurement, operations, and production to ensure accurate cost allocation, inventory valuation, and compliance with company policies. Develop and maintain detailed cost models; track production variances; recommend process and cost-efficiency improvements. Support job costing and project-based financial reporting aligned with plant and corporate objectives. Budgeting & Forecasting Lead plant-level budgeting and standard cost-setting processes. Oversee audit processes, internal reviews, tax reporting coordination, and corporate governance standards. ERP Implementation & Systems Lead the finance workstream for the implementation and rollout of a new manufacturing ERP system. Define accounting and reporting requirements; support data migration; test modules; train accounting and operations staff. Drive continuous system improvement and ensure ERP usage aligns with company-wide standards. Team Leadership & Collaboration Support the development and mentoring of accounting staff; build a scalable, disciplined accounting and finance function. Collaborate with plant operations, engineering, supply chain, procurement, and corporate finance to ensure aligned reporting and decision-making. Design scalable accounting processes capable of supporting additional plants as CIG expands its U.S. manufacturing footprint. CPA or CMA required. MBA preferred. Experience 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in financial reporting, cost accounting, standard costing, and budgeting in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience within solar, semiconductor, electronics, or other high-volume manufacturing environment preferred. Job Summary: The Plant Specialist / Engineer primarily will be responsible for administering NRG's Structural and Walking Working Surfaces Inspection Program; NRG OPO-217 at the Limestone Plant. The incumbent is expected to have a working knowledge of inspection practices and repairs. This knowledge can be gained through experience or a combination of college/technical training. In this position the individual will be expected to provide advanced technical support for issues structural in nature. Project Management of non-OPO projects will be expected. The job level for this position will be based on education, skills, and experience. The Limestone Generating Station is a 2-unit 1750MW coal facility built in the 1980's to fire lignite and is currently operating on Powder River Basin coal. The plant is located in Jewett, Texas. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: * Administration of a high visibility, Safety oriented program to include Budgets, Inspections, repairs and reporting across all management levels. * Provide oversite, direction and validation of 3rd party inspectors. * Provide oversite, direction, technical consultation regarding repairs and findings to NRG and contractor work crews. * Provide direction and coordination to Contract Coordinator(s) with regards to plans, schedules, work scopes, priorities relevant to OPO program and repairs. * Manage Station wide repair budget resulting from inspection findings. * Build work packages for 3rd party contractors based on finding priorities and adjacency. * Develop long range budgets and schedules. * Collaborate with Limestone staff, NRG Corporate Leadership, NRG peers at other plants and 3rd parties to improve the plans and execution of programs and projects at Limestone. * Develop project scope, budgets and schedules as needed to support plant priorities, these may or may not be inside core areas of responsibility. * Perform field inspections, field measurements and equipment walk downs. * Support, monitor and emphasize the importance of safety and environmental programs. * Prepare written reports in assigned area of responsibility. * Participate and/or lead teams that focus on specific problem areas or needs to achieve optimal operation (ie: Root Cause Analysis). * Coordinate activities with Vendors/Contractors and outside support groups. * Be proactive with problem recognition, using independent judgment to provide input on ways to solve them. * Provide assistance when training personnel on system operations in their associated area of expertise. * Provides technical input on due diligence efforts and new projects as they arise in their technical area of expertise. * Attend training in area of specialization. * Participates in the applicable internal and external user groups and implement industry best practices to the fleet as required.
