The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for providing managerial leadership to the Production Staff including budgeting and planning; selecting, training, mentoring, and evaluating personnel; establishing goals, coordinating all production functions throughout the facility, and overseeing process improvement programs to meet company goals and objectives.
The Manufacturing Manager will establish goals for production, and coordinate a plan to meet those goals. Ensures production stays on schedule and assures products meet quality standards and customer specifications. Analyzes production data and optimizes processes for efficiency. Directs an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials.
Ensure workers and equipment meet performance and safety requirements. Assists in hiring, training, and assessing the performance of workers. Supervise staff and delegate tasks to employees. Communicate with other departments, such as Finance, HR Purchasing, Engineering, Customer Service, etc. Must meet ITAR and EAR requirements.
The successful candidate will be a self-driven, results oriented, aggressive leader with a minimum of five years' experience in managing a Production Team. A Bachelor's degree or four-year applicable degree with a minimum of 5-10 years of related experience is preferred. Good communication and people skills required. Microsoft Office Product proficiency required.

Accountabilities

Education and Experience
Junior level engineer:
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school

* Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license.

What You Will Be Doing:
Be the go-to person for all things HOMAG - error codes, machine down, technical and mechanical problems
CNC layout optimization & process flow to reduce bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
Utilize data-driven analysis (e.g., Amper system) to monitor machine utilization and identify inefficiencies.
Provide high-level technical expertise on machine operations, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and implement process standardization.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve production efficiency.
Analyze and recommend machinery investments as the company scales operations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and leadership teams to drive process improvements.
What You'll Need:
**Titles are not important, if you're an expert in HOMAG machines and/or plant layout with HOMAG machines, we'd love to speak with you!!**
Expertise with CNC - HOMAG machines specifically (plus if you have Biesse as well)
Background in Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and data analysis
Experience in CNC for cabinetry, casework, or woodworking manufacturing
Proficiency in OEE, downtime analysis, and process optimization tools
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on problem-solving (50/50 split between strategy & floor work)
Strong collaboration skills, working closely with production and leadership teams
Degree in Industrial Engineering is a plus, not required
Big Plus if You Have:
Familiarity with Amper (machine monitoring software) or similar tracking tools.

As a Welding Engineer/ Welding Educator at EaglePicher, you will be a subject matter expert for welding at multiple manufacturing sites performing high-reliability resistance, fusion, and ultrasonic joining operations. Provide input on new product designs to ensure proper material selection, joint design, and welding requirements are defined early in the design process

Help support complex weld-related failure investigations and troubleshooting
