ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: · Support the execution of the Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation activities for our new Vial Filling system (e.g., washing/depyrogenation, aseptic filling, isolator/VPHP, glove integrity testers, environmental monitoring systems), including SAT, IQ/OQ, PQ, and Aseptic Process Simulation. · Management of Equipment Vendors, including project execution, on-site maintenance and calibration visits, vendor-supplied training of operation and maintenance staff, management of continuous improvement projects, and spare parts criticality assessments. · Responsible for delivering cycle development for the process including VPHP cycles for Isolator & transport systems, and preparation of required GMP documentation for filling process and recipes. · Support the establishment of an electronic batch record system for filler and isolator setup, operation, and changeover. · Support the transition from project to sustaining manufacturing and the ramp-up of production volumes in the future by improving equipment reliability through Continuous Improvement and TPM processes. · Coordinate technical deliverables within the Aseptic Operations team to support successful process and product launches. · Lead and participate in cross-functional groups to investigate and resolve technical issues, drive continuous improvement, and process optimization using tools such as DMAIC and FMEA. · Manage change in the Vial Filling and/or Nest Filling areas as per site change control procedures. · Participate in regulatory inspections e.g. FDA, DEA inspections as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) · Bachelor's degree in engineering, Materials Science, Biology, or related discipline. · Minimum 4+ years working in a cGMP environment, i.e. pharmaceutical, medical device. · Exposure to parenteral processing equipment and operations, including formulation, filling, visual inspection, and packaging equipment. · Front-line support of aseptic filling equipment and/or barrier systems, e.g. isolator or RABS. · Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems and implement projects. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across various levels of the organization. · Strong Mechanical Aptitude. · Interact with other functions (e.g. Manufacturing, Automation, Quality Assurance, R&D) and must be able to take ownership of and follow through on assigned projects. · Ability to execute on-the-floor activities such as FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ, and Engineering batches. · Willingness to adapt to changing priorities as project demands change. · Ability to explain complex technical issues to external customers/agencies. Job Description The Subcontracts Management Lead is responsible for overseeing the procurement and contract management of major subcontracts executed by the EPC/EPCM contractor on large-scale manufacturing facility projects. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred). Experience: 10+ years in subcontract management for large-scale industrial or manufacturing projects. Proven experience overseeing EPC/EPCM subcontracting processes and managing trade contractors. Strong understanding of U.S. construction laws, procurement regulations, and compliance standards. Equipment Procurement experience is desirable Skills: Leadership and team management capabilities. Strong negotiation and contract administration skills. Ability to develop governance frameworks and enforce compliance. Proficiency in contract management systems and MS Office Suite. Preferred Attributes: Experience with multi-billion-dollar projects and global EPC contractors. Know how much money the plant makes per day, the margins generated from the plants production slate, and actively work to maximize total margin. Know the total cost (raw material, conversion cost, etc.) of production for the plant(s) he/she operates and continuously works to improve the cost position and EBITDA generation. Set up metrics and management systems to drive optimization of plant value/EBITDA by all of operations (operators, Technical Advisors, maintenance, etc.). Earn respect and trust of operations team because of their great problem-solving skills and technical expertise. Elevate and appropriately apply knowledge of their plant and technology study historical data, convene with other Subject Mater Experts (SMEs), etc. Ensure Manufacturing Technology is utilized, and that process automation is used as a tool to optimize plant performance. Partner with the experts to perform advanced troubleshooting and improve operating discipline. Diagnose and document root causes of asset utilization losses in the facility. Understand why specific procedure steps and precautions are needed and keep a strong field presence to reinforce the importance. Conduct daily review of logbook and alarm history to better understand the plant operation and stay engaged with daily activities. Maintain, own, and review daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/trends to ensure optimum performance. Works with Production Coordinator to determine production capabilities. Works with Supply Chain and Production Planning to optimize production schedule. Convert business plan into daily operating plan. Respond urgently to plant issues and emergencies. Act as a unit technical expert during unplanned events and drive implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions. Provide leadership, expertise, diagnosis, and optimization in plant Raw Material Efficiency, which may include yield or waste generation. Ensure compliance with plant operating permits. Understand site integration and provide input to optimize the overall system Qualifications: BS engineering discipline required. 0-5 years of manufacturing or related experience required. Line of business (Kevlar/Tyvek/Nomex) experience preferred. Process Safety Management (High Hazard Process/Low Hazard Operation) experience preferred. Lean/Six Sigma experience beneficial. Job Description The Project Engineer will work closely with other engineers and CAD technicians on various civil, solid waste, and environmental related projects. The projects are challenging and provide unique design opportunities. You will be responsible for designing solid waste facilities that will enable LaBella to create sustainable, cost-effective solutions tailored to the specific needs of our clients. The projects are intricate and incorporate both civil and environmental engineering skills, including land development (grading and stormwater management); leachate collection, treatment, and management; renewable energy designs; and organic waste management. Brand new, already operational, and closed solid waste facilities face many different types of challenges - there is never a dull moment, nor is there a cookie-cutter solution that fits every similar situation. Duties Projects will include solid-waste related site development projects: developing master plans, design drawings, design of stormwater management and erosion control systems, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
