CAD Engineer

The CAD Engineer is responsible for designing and developing new motor assemblies, managing part design, and overseeing change management for existing motors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Design and develop motor products, including the creation of 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and proof-of-concept evaluations.
· Generate drawings and bills of materials (BOM) for Moons' motor projects; collaborate with cross-functional teams to define manufacturing processes, supply chain strategies, and inspection standards.
· Coordinate with supplier factory teams; conduct comprehensive design reviews for parts and tooling quotations, support part and tool development, and contribute to first article inspections for part approval.
· Assemble, test, and analyze First Unit to Test (FUTT) prototypes.
· Participate in Design for Manufacturability and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) as required.
