Job Title: Hackler - Supply Chain EngineerJob Description As a Supply Chain Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing facility performance levels to meet corporate targets for improved order-to-delivery results. This position focuses significantly on weld line planning, requiring you to spend 50-75% of your time on the floor. Your primary responsibilities will include leading efforts to develop and implement the Plan for Every Part and improving throughput efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement supply chain processes for manufacturing areas, including standard work, material handling equipment, and floor layouts.
* Maintain the Plan for Every Part for 2,000 to 5,000 part numbers across manufacturing value streams.
* Document processes using various planning tools.
* Support the design and implementation of material packaging and containerization solutions for the facility.
* Support performance efforts of manufacturing areas through continuous improvement processes, incident investigation, and root cause corrective action, resolving systemic supply chain related problems.
Essential Skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
* Technical degree (associates or bachelors) in industrial technology, engineering, or a related field.
* Associates degree or a minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain.
* Computer skills including Microsoft Access.
* Ability to lift 35+ pounds and walk to the floor.
* Basic math skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with CPS, RIW, and Value Stream Transformation process.
* Experience in the development and deployment of Supply Chain processes.
* Blueprint reading skills.
* Background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, ManufacturingEngineering, Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning, Demand Management, and/or Logistics.
Work Environment
This role requires spending a significant amount of time on the production floor, focusing on weld line planning. The work environment is dynamic, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficient supply chain processes. Dress code and attire are suitable for a manufacturing environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Decatur, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
