Manufacturing engineering technicians provide technical support to engineers. They provide technical assistance during the design of manufacturing processes for a production facility. They assist with developing layouts or floor plans. Asides from that, they inspect the efficiency and plans and conduct various diagnostic tests. This is to ensure the product performs optimally. Similarly, they troubleshoot equipment and record test procedures and results. Furthermore, they resolve routine technical problems. The minimum educational requirement for this job is a high school diploma or its equivalent. However, having an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related discipline is advantageous.
