JOB SUMMARY:

Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of related “hands on” production experience in an electromechanical manufacturing/assembly environment

Experience using Oracle E-Business Suite is preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment.
Capability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.), electric and pneumatic power tools, and in-house developed product-specific tooling/fixtures.

Summary/objective
The Yard Laborer is responsible for performing various tasks related to the operation and maintenance of the yard.
Essential functions

Sort and process materials, including but not limited to: ferrous, non ferrous, tires, and batteries
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking the movement of materials
Maintain equipment and facilities, including basic maintenance tasks and cleaning
Provide support to all departments as needed
Ensure compliance with all loca, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to follow safety guidelines and regulations
